Sick game! I love that you went with an arcade-style. Kind of nostalgic. I would have liked to have seen the background change some, maybe progress into and through the castle, but I stopped thinking about that about halfway into the game because I got too absorbed into it. The pacing is really good, it feels good to play; Not too easy, and not too punishing.
really cool, reminded me of those arcade machine with the toy guns, gets pretty intense. good work on this one! :)
Great game! Love the addition of the leaderboard, really helps with replayability! Well done!
Fun game! My only issue is the leaderboard - I don't stand a chance against the top players. Still enjoyed playing!
Yeah the leaders have absolute insane points, I dont even stand a chance and I made it xD
This game took me back to being a kid playing arcade games but I feel like it had a few issues holding it back. Enemies would often spawn on-top of each other and the art style clashed quite a bit with itself. I also wish I could reload manually when there is some downtime instead of wasting/having to use up the rest of the chamber. Still a good effort for the jam! I played this on stream here, though I think the stream dipped so may be broken into two sections: https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive
Nice game!! Hard to beat the leaderboards by now...
The music is a real bop and that custom splash sequence is peak. Really feels like an arcade game in a great way.
Cool game! Really makes you feel like Alucard!
Very fun!
There lack depth distribution of the vampire hunter sprites.
But i love the arcade gameplay style and highscore system, and how each hunter have a unique gameplay :D
Neat arcade shooter. I would have liked if at least for when they disappear, they had a short animation instead of just instantly being gone. Also, some more variation in enemy behavior would be a nice addition, if you plan on making a post jam update, like one that walks sideways before attacking or something like that. Music and sound were good. Also, you should reimport your textures with the 2D pixels preset, it doesn't look good with this blurring, otherwise the graphics are nice.
Duck Hunt turned dracula! Fun arcade project!
Got 'em Dracula style 🧛🏻. SWAG.
Enjoyable little arcade game (I'm a fan of those). There could definitely be a lot more depth to its mechanics, like taking inspiration from classic rail shooters and what not for screen design and enemy placements, alongside making the reloading a little less awkward, but it was an enjoyable and a quick experience.

Fun game! Duck hunt will always be great, and here in an upgraded version!

I thought that Shoot to Reload meant shoot anywhere on screen lol. But other than that it's a pretty good shooty
The goal is simple yet addictive. I like the graphics and the different attack of each enemy. It was sometimes hard to shoot an enemy hidden behind another maybe because of some layering of collision shapes. I also like the addition of leaderboards in a arcade game style.
Nice shooties) Great that you not only show Highscore, but other stats too, in leaderboard! (headshot counter is broken though)
Nicely done!
Really cool. Love the genre choice. The global leaderboard is a really nice touch. Might try and do one of those myself next jam.
Took me a while to understand how to reload, really challenging game, especially at the end, nice game!
