Took me a while but I did it! Team ASS always delivers <3

The gameplay is so juicy, especially when the ball destroys blocks, and the art and animation is just so gorgeous, a treat to play

When we realised it was a peggle-like our eyes were like the MC when she holds her flowers. This game was awesome. We loved the art espescially. The character designs were cute. The music was really well done and tied it together really well. We need to swap notes on audio design for typing text, because ours sounded like a machine gun and yours did not. Text probably shouldnt sound like a machine gun. Good job. :)

Developer(+2)

I actually thought your text noise was good and appropriate.  It gave a techy-vibe, and kinda reminded me of the intro to something sci-fi like Robocop.  The rapid typing effect was neat and "cold" sounding, appropriate for the challenging test-like environment in your game.  Keep up the good work! It is so great to see a family dev team as well : )

Official Reactor Report #42 – External Scientific Expedition

We attempted to teach Atom Jerry the ancient and highly respected scientific discipline known as Peggle. While we're still not entirely convinced he understood the assignment, he certainly became extremely dedicated to it. We lost him for quite some time and eventually found him enthusiastically launching planets while muttering, "One more bounce, comrade..."

He also insists that we return to the arcade from the main menu immediately. Unfortunately, the Ministry of Workplace Safety has declared the establishment "excessively groovy" and has prohibited all personnel except Jerry from entering until further notice.

We absolutely loved the atmosphere throughout, and the art was fantastic. The audio matched it perfectly and really sold the atmosphere, making the whole experience feel wonderfully bizarre in the best possible way.

Thank you for the experience, comrades. Atom Jerry has submitted a formal request to install a planetary pegboard inside our reactor. We have, naturally, denied it... for now.

Nice revisited Peggle-like with a duel! Art is so beautiful, story is very cool, I had fun to play it. Congrats!

Submitted(+7)

Everything about this game is great. The narrative, the gameplay, the art direction, the sound design. Seriously incredible.

I wish I could see how more... how this ended....

BUT what was there is incredible. Seriously impressive.

Developer(+1)

It is incredibly hard to do (because we put the game on baby mode so everyone can see the full narrative). BUT try losing all 50 worlds. That's the true ending.

Submitted(+1)

More content?! Yippee!! Will do right away :3

Submitted(+2)

I managed to do it!! And yep as I expected. It ends well for neither of them tehehe

Moral of the story... Don't delay the end, and don't date eldritch beings of pure destruction

(+4)

The 'voices' are really cute!

Submitted(+5)

I love how simple the main character is compared to the eldritch gf, it gives me clark from connecticut vibes

Obscure comic references aside, I like the peggle gameplay, (It's a shame the eldritch gf KEEPS THROWING) but the story was fun, gameplay is satisfying and the art is gorgeous, overall a great game!

Developer(+3)

Fun fact. We had to nerf the eldritch GF. She was unironically so good at peggle at some point that the game was practically unbeatable. Now she randomly fires into the void sometimes.

Developer(+3)

yeah, she was so good that we needed to add a button to win the level automatically, because testing was going so slowly

Submitted(+2)

Is that ... Beerus?

Developer(+1)

omg.....

Submitted(+3)

woww...

Submitted(+5)

I really liked the cosmic meloncholy vibes of this and all the art and music fits it so well!!  Being able to coordinate so many composers in a short space of time and still have a cohesive tone is impressive

Submitted(+4)

The art and narrative is one of the strongest I've seen in this gamejam!

Submitted(+7)

Super awesome entry from very cool people. Thought the peggle gameplay was cool and I enjoyed the story, a pretty cool take on the theme. I really wanted to see what would happen if you ran out of planets but the gameplay was kinda easy and there was never really that threat so I replayed the last level over and over until I ran out. Glad I did it but shame I had to find out like that. Still rated it super well as it was a well polished, creative idea. Good work!

Developer(+1)

we put the game on easy mode so its easier to win, but we really should spend a little more time balancing the planet count as well

Developer(+1)

Thank you kind stranger who I definetely do not know as you are not from All Serious Studios

Developer

yeah! The music was meant to start sounding older and more broken when you get below 50% planets and the background slowly degrades away! (I don't think the music glitching worked on the last level tho lol)

Submitted

Yeah not sure about the music, but the background did and that was super cool, it was fun seeing the last few planets in the sky actually disappear as you lose them.

Immortal Destroyer's Smashing Planets Into Small Piles Of Planetary Debris was pretty cool to play, to pass time in such a cozy apocalypse ;)

Had fun playing this around... in this universe.

Developer(+1)

Had fun making this universe u.u

Submitted(+3)

Great art, animations and music combined with simple but fun gameplay and interesting narrative!
The scoring system could be improved. It was a bit unclear how many pegs you need to hit to win or at which amount of the pegs destroyed does it end.

Submitted(+5)

Beautiful animations, but too much dialogue for my personal taste. I wish there were more gameplay.

Submitted(+7)

Really interesting game and nice story. Though the idea of dating a world destroying monster is creepy

Developer(+1)

not if the world destroying monster is super hot :p

Submitted(+5)

Very cozy vibes for a game about the impending end of the universe!

Submitted(+3)

Really cool artstyle and art direction! Feel like it could have tied the theme in a bit better in some places, perhaps making the pinball expire on a timer, if it bounces around too long?

Submitted(+4)

I am consistently floored by the quality of content I'm experiencing in this jam. This game is one such example. Stellar stuff.
