This is my favorite game so far! The concept seems like it wouldn't have much to offer, but your execution is perfect!
This game is "golf, but I can do anything." By breaking the basic rules of golf, it enables much more creative level design. The visuals look simple, but they're perfect for this game, and the instant replay really emphasizes how much I messed around with the golf. Also, the sound design is really good. I had a great time vibing with the music while playing. This is a 10/10 game for me.
That last level is brutal. I almost gave up so many times, but I finally managed to beat it.
Congrats on the last level, you're the second or third recorded person to have done it.
this is my favourite game ive played in this jam so far, and by a LOT. it caught my eye real quick because of the aesthetic, i love the (i suppose) vaporwave inspired statues and real life objects, music was great too, but then the gameplay hooked me so much, this is the most interesting golf/pool game ive ever played and the bounciness of the ball and mechanics reminded me so much of Nubbys Number Factory (i dont know if it was an inspiration). as many have pointed out, last level is bordeline psychotic haha, couldnt manage to beat it, but everything else was perfect! when i saw that the implementation of the theme was just a timer on the levels i thought it was gonna feel like a cheap excuse to fit the theme, but since you get to slow down time theres actually time manipulation and more that goes into it, it really is a core mechanic that holds the game all together. keep up the good work!
Considering the fact that I just bought nubby's number factory a couple weeks ago and have been playing it religiously ever since, I think it's very possible that I was subconsciously inspired by it. As for the last level, I've only done it a couple times myself. It was originally supposed to only be the first part, a victory lap of sorts, but then I decided that it would be funnier if the last level was impossible.
Looks like a fever dream, strange and fascinating at the same time. It was fun, and the replay is really a good idea. Wasn't able to finish the game tho, the last level of the second world (which I suppose is the last level of the game) is really, REALLY hard. I thought you had blessed us with an easy level, I was tricked :-( Great job!
Awesome take on golf! love the gameplay, pretty satisfying too. I do wish that the texts on the tutorial, and the timer can be seen better (maybe a different color and add borders?). Overall, Nice Job!
I really enjoyed this one. I think I managed to get trhough the levels pretty quickly, though I kept losing to the ones you have to be very precise cause I like going fast . Also very fun and fits the theme
Fellow golf enjoyer! Great experience you putt together here. The bullet time mechanic is a lot of fun, and I loved the level design.
This was a lot of fun, love the aesthetic and the music. I could see myself play this one again and again and again.
Great job! Creative submission and smart physics! Maybe I missed it, but I would like to be able to pan around the course to see where I'm going from the start.
It's really fun and the levles are realy creative
This is a lot of fun. this is one bouncy ball
Wow, no joke this does require some precision golfing! I felt like I was trying to drive an F1 car through an English village, in a good way. It's funny because it's like our games are on opposite ends of the golf spectrum. Crazy game design, with an really cool surreal retro aesthetic, I could definitely see myself sinking a good 8+ hours into getting this game to 100% you packed so much in. Congrats!
Sensory overload! That was really fun.
Frutiger Aero done to perfection, super fun
Great game, feels very polished! Feels like slowdown bullet time but with golf.
wonderful game and i couldn't imagine it being executed any better. all the sounds, art, animations are just perfect... really good stuff!!

Love the sound design and music, it's very fitting. Hitting the ball while time is slowed is incredibly satisfying and fun. The mechanics give the levels a lot of depth, and I finished all but the last course.
Amazing!
Thank you for finishing the game, it means so much to me! Don't worry about the last course, I think I've only pulled it off twice haha.
god knows irl golf would be awesome if we were fast enough to run and strike the ball while it's going
i cannot put into words how dopaminic this was, great job!
I am not shure why i was met with a black screen when i tryed to restart i could see a bit of the ball then it went back to being a black screen
I've seen this happen on one of my playtester's systems, (it might be a mac thing?) I fixed what I thought the problem was but I guess not. Using a different browser fixed the problem, if you're up to the task. Thanks for letting me know it's still an issue!
Sorry for replying again, but if possible, please do tell me if you're using Mac and (if you have time) if the game works on a different browser. No pressure, but I want to fix this bug in the post jam update.
I am an intel mac user
Hahahah that reminds me of when we played mini-golf as kids during some holiday and me and my brother would cheat and do dumb stuff the entire afternoon. The slow-motion when you're playing while the ball is still moving is fun to play with too ! And the art is funny (in a very good way) :D
