This is a lovely twist on the idle game genre. I loved having to figure out the beat whenever I added a new upgrade. Amazing job!

How does your game fit the theme?

Interesting take on a cookie clicker, and it's strangely hypnotic! I was clicking in time with the rhythm for more than 6 minutes, pretty decent for my old-man brain. Don't think I ever worked out how to score the "horn" clock mind.
It's a rare case of a timer with narrative and mechanical justification, and it doesn't add pressure. Great stuff!
very good game. i loved that this is like cookie clikker from scratch( is it from scratch?) i loved that the blue clocks have a bird sound. very good artwork and audio. this is my favorite yet.
PS, can you rate my game too, and leave some feedback, since this is my sisters first game jam
Great game! This is easily my favorite rhythm game of the jam so far. The art style and soundtrack are fantastic, and the overall execution is super smooth. My only constructive critique is on the narrative side: it would be amazing to have a bit more story context connecting why we are clicking rhythmically on the clock, kind of like how Little Inferno weaves a narrative justification into its core mechanic of burning things. Giving the mechanical loop a bit more narrative grounding would make the experience even more immersive! Incredible work, congrats on submitting!
By the way, if you have some free time, I'd love for you to playtest my game as well and let me know what you think!
Nice one. Played quite a few incremental games like this but the rhythm aspect makes this one stand out. Maybe a few too many clicks between upgrades since your kinda encouraged to go slower to stay on beat rather then spam the button.
Very fun spin on the clicker-game formula, and I loved trying to keep the rythm going. You can admittedly just spamclick to make it way easier, but where's the fun in that?
Fun game ! I love how buying stuff progressively creates a bit of music
clicky game. fun. i like the creativity, the timing can be a bit stressful, but then i realized i can just click super fast anyways. graphics are great, audio is good.
good work!
Clever and fun
Great work on the thumbnail too, very eye catching I love it
I love incremental games, so I'd say this one was for me! Great SFX too!
I'm going to need a wrist brace after taking that so seriously :-D Loved the building of sound over the game time, it really became something nice to listen to, also loved that I could move the little clocks around. Stressed out every time I took too long in the shop :-)
An interesting twist of the classic clicker genre. The sound of clocks puts you into rithm and almost deletes de need of any background music. I enjoyed playing it.
This was really fun for me, if it was expanded and polished I could totally just sit and play this for a couple of hours haha, very creative and on-theme.
Could not get the hang of the Horn Clock at all, did find that just spamming both mouse and space seemed way better at getting points than trying to time it to the beat, but maybe I was just doing it badly cause I couldn't get enough to get the grandfather clock by the time the game was already over. 5:39!
The horn clock is my fault; I added it last minute tbh. And the reason you couldn't get the grandfather clock is that certain clocks give a multiplier, and if you tap randomly, the multiplier gets used on your basic click (which is only 1 point) rather than a better collection of points; maybe I should've communicated that better :P.
I thought just whenever the click happened on the beat it would get whatever bonus is related to it, spamming space/mouse I'd get like a +1 and +20 at the same time basically sometimes, while just trying to tap on the beat would get me the same thing except without any extra points in between. What's the trick to doing it better?
Clicks that hit on beat get consumed; you instead get whatever the clock gives you. I actually got told by one of my friends that spamming would be a problem so the way the mult clocks (like the cuckoo clock or the alarm clock) work is that when you get their bonus its a multiplier and it applies to your VERY NEXT point addition so if you just click right after you get it itll apply to a SINGLE point and just be like +2 BUT if you dont press anything and wait to get a big addition of points at once from like a ton of grandpa clocks youll apply the mult to THAT ADDITION. TLDR: Once you've got a cuckoo clock, stop spamming; you'll just waste your mult focus on hitting your clocks. Spamming is only good in the early game.
The cuckoo clock seems to need to have a click happen basically just after the beat to trigger it seems, if I stay on the beat then two misses pop up each time. Though despite that, I just did a run and got 5 seconds faster than my previous best despite having very few clocks, not tapping a lot of the time, and getting to around 500 points max at any point, think just from hitting on the beat of the base clocks a lot. You did a real nice job of making a game that's a lot more interesting than it seems at first glance
The most addictive game I found so far! Got glued to the beat of those clocks. The art is awesome and the idea is super creative and well crafted.
I think it would be great if, the close you get to doomsday, the faster the beat goes. In terms of how time works, it wouldn't make sense, but it would make it very fun if, for example, every quarter you have to speed up your tempo!
Could've used a theme song to not be alone with the sound of the clocks, but even without it the game sounded great!
Loved it a lot! Congrats!
