I love your sound effects and music – they go really well with the visual style! I think it would be better if you could reduce the number of taps from 10 to 5! Anyway, congratulations on finishing the game!
Yes definitely haha, thanks for playing! :D
Count Em’ Down! is a really fun and creative take on the bullet-hell genre. The artwork looks great, the sound effects feel satisfying, and the gameplay kept me locked in the whole time!
Thanks!

Thanks!
i love the music!
Thanks! I made it myself :D
This game is a perfect example of “The greatest ideas are the simplest.” You just click to count down while running from enemy but man What a Game! Great execution of the theme. I’m jealous :)
Thank you! I definitely went simple for this one!
really impressive bullet hell, refreshing and fun to play. i really like the VFX and the powerups were great! i love the start menu click, but I agree with your previous comment on decreasing it to 5 or 3 :)
Thanks for playing, haha my bad
Really liked the minimalism and the mechanics! .. Good Work!
Thanks!
Fun twist on the theme - and I like the minimalist art style :)
I think maybe clicking 10 times to validate each UI panel is a bit much, but other than that, nice!
Thanks! Yeah maybe 10 was too much, definitely should be 3 or 5, thanks for the feedback!
Good commitment to the theme. The auto-clicker felt a little bit like cheating but I'll take it
Thanks! the auto clicker is a little op haha
didnt love having to manually click multiple times per upgrade honestly, but the game was otherwise pretty cool!!!!
honestly valid! Could've made it fewer maybe 5 or 3, thanks for the feedback and for playing my game! :D
ramps up fast & the final boss was great! i got the auto clicker upgrade which was a godsend for trackpad.
Glad you had fun! Also thankfully I fixed the auto clicker bug, it almost didn't make it into the upgrades list haha
just coming back to say: i shared this game with my friend and he said it was one of his favorites of the jam games he's seen! thanks for dropping by and checking my game out too; i really appreciate it.
Oh wow thanks so much!
I like your take on the theme here and also applying it into the bullet-hell genre, very creative! Also, I liked the artwork of your game. I think you can expand more on the game, and maybe one day make it into steam?
Thanks! Would definitely need to start from scratch cause of the Game Jam spaghetti code but could be awesome!
This is so great, had a blast!
Thanks! :D
Really polished a fun experience! I loved the different enemy types and their unique attacks, and the final boss was really good! I kept thinking maybe the boss is dead but then it kept going which was great! The upgrades are quite impactful and it's definitely satisfying to stack up on damage upgrades. I think my only nitpicks are that the boss difficulty was a bit weird. I'd say the hardest part of the boss was right at the beginning when you're surrounded by 3 different entities shooting at you, then after that it doesn't become much more difficult. Maybe it's just me? but maybe that stage could be brought on a bit later in the boss. I also think the 15 enemies could be more challenging. When they shoot the 2 enemy, it's very slow and feels a bit underwhelming. Maybe that enemy could also shoot (or if it already does maybe shoot frequently) or move a bit faster.
Otherwise, really great game and I love the UI elements and visual effects! Congrats!
I agree with the boss difficulty! it definitely needs more tuning. For the yellow 15 one I understand as well, I didn't really have time to balance the difficulty and focused on making sure the player can have fun and feel powerful. Thanks for the feedback! :D
this might genuinely be the most locked ive been in a game this jam this is so much fun
Thats so nice to hear, thanks alot!
Wow, great implementation of the theme and an overall really polished experience. I enjoyed it a lot. Well done!! :)
Thank you!
super fun to play and polished
Nice to hear! Thanks!
This has some GREAT juice, very fun, could be a very addicting game with some more mechanics, so much fun to play, very well done
Thanks! I put my effort into the polishing and making it fun! :D
Really fun and addictive! The only issue I had was a very little lag during the boss, when there are lots of bullets on the screen. But it didn't really affect the gameplay, so I can complain much. This is a concept I can see turned into a full game! Keep up the great work!
ooo sucks to hear about the lag, maybe it runs better on the Windows version? either way Thanks for playing! :D
Oh for sure Windows version would run better, but I use Linux hahaha xD Either way, wasn't a problem! Just something we always have to consider when exporting for the web xD
This has some good juice and the countdowns are every where. Really reminds me of some old action mobile games I used to play back in the day.
Juice was definitely my focus this jam, thanks!
