This was SO GOOD! Easily one of the best games I've played during this jam. I loved the sound design and voice acting haha, the driving and drifting felt great, the art style was coherent, it felt surprisingly polished. I didn't care much for upgrades because I just had fun driving around haha. Really well done guys

Really nice driving movement, was a lot of fun to just drive around! I played till the end of day four because of it and because I wanted to see some upgrades and buildings ^^ However, overall the progression is quite slow, which is fair enough with more realistic pizza prices, however for a game jam game that others play in quick succession it does really take quite a while to try out stuff. You made so many upgrades, but with the limited time I have for voting, I couldn’t commit enough time to try them all out… That being said, I got somewhat lucky in drawing a legendary teleporter on day 2, but never figured out how to use it. I spent 200 hard earned coins on it, but it seemed like I needed 2 of them for this to work? By day 3, I decided to buy a pizza rack to ease the stress and after day 4, I rerolled the shop until I couldn’t afford to buy it anymore, so I sadly never got to test that theory. Furthermore, I gotta say the game has a weird balance of cool down and stress phases. Because I have so little cash at hand, I wasn’t able to spend the time between deliveries to check out cool new upgrades and instead ended up waiting around infront of the pickup zone. At the start of the game deliveries came in so slow that I at some point believed I had bugged the game cause it told me to go to the pizzaria, but there was literally nothing there for me to do, except tony telling me there are no orders.
But those confusions aside, incredibly big map, fitting telephone voice acting and nice music. I like it, good job on the game!
driving is awesome, the map is absolutely massive.. I was confused on DAY 1 but holly did it ramp up.. by DAY3 I was sweating to deliver pizzas in-time and made quite a few close calls. There are too many idiots on that mountain that want pizza and it takes me like 20 minutes to get up there lol. This feels like its like very close to being a finished game you should abosolutely keep working on it and release it. I like that I could place ramps and halfpipes, on day 1 I did loopdy loops jumping over the ramp lol. The only real criticism I have is that the UI needed some juice but with a map that large I can imagine it would have taken a long time to tune progression.. Great work amazing you could pull that together in such a short period!
Pulling this off in just four days is seriously impressive. Congrats!
What a trip of a game, it looks simple and the gameplay loop isn't particularly complicated, kind of nodding back at classic "driving" games like crazy taxi, but I'm absolutelly shocked you had the time to design a whole whopping region even with premade assets. That might be the reason why it runs so poorly (and admittedly that spoils the fun a little bit) but I had a lot of fun driving around with the shockingly good car physics and exploring the map with a pretty great soundtrack to boot. Incredibly atmospheric and zeny game, until you piss off Tony (he is coming).
this game is super fun. I think you already know the game isn't very hard, but i had a really great time regardless. The driving is really well done, i love how insanely fast the car went. I was just flying around and jumping over trees lmaoo
Also I like how you did the mini map hehe, pretty clever.
Really nice job overall, well done!
This game is slick.
I loved the driving mechanic. I didn't even know about drifting until halfway through and it still felt amazing. I did pretty well through the first few days, so I had no idea what was going to happen when the countdown hit zero until I got stuck in a copse of trees and was told who was coming (never have I had such fear). The speed-up music near the end of the countdown was perfect.
All to say: this was great. This game is a blast. I'm probably coming back later to finish it.
Much appreciated! Our biggest regret was shipping the first few days a bit too easy, so I’m really glad someone played long enough to meet Tony :)
I will note, we currently don’t have an “ending” for the game. It’s arcade style, get as far as you can. The current highest I’ve seen on this version is day 14.
I’ll also note, we have a patch prepared for once the jam is done that fixes most of the things bugging us, increases the difficulty of the first few days a bit, and also adds save and quit, so if you want to push for a high score I’d probably wait until then. Thank you so much for the kind review!
This game almost didn't work at first. I had to boot up a VM to get the files extracted, but I was able to get the game to work!! So the music is relaxing and is surprisingly dynamic for a jam game. The visuals are good especially with the sunrise and sunset. I will say that the driving mechanics is super satisfying here and fun to use!! Might continue on my own time

Really fun game. Driving around the city is really cool. Though I often felt that the game is too easy. I never got past half of the time allotted and often was met with "we've got no orders", at which point I was left waiting, having nothing to do
Yea we definitely agree in hindsight. We were nervous about making the game too hard for people who get lost, but after playtesting it definitely should start with more deliveries. The difficulty DOES scale pretty well, you start feeling the pressure around day 4 if you wanna give it another shot. Thank you for the feedback though, we’ll definitely be adjusting the starting difficulty post jam :)
I think this is the most enjoyable game ive played so far. The controls on the car feel amazing; just moving around the map is great. Also this game has my favorite audio out of every game ive played so far, the voice acting is peak and the music is peaker. If anyones reading this I think its worth downloading.
It was fun. I played it for a little while, but I hit performance issues. My GPU dies with it. Not sure if it is rendering distance or some culling that is not happening. Did you transformed your world into static meshes?
I had SO much FUN playing! The controls are so fluid, the map looks wonderful it's a really cool cozy game (bonus points for the voice acting!) Great job to the team!
