The creatures were so fun, such a cool concept!
I like the idea, and the creatures actually changing to unique forms is super cool and impressive. The swapping mechanic is not very impactful, since you can always pick any ball you want to be at the bottom, from any starting position, so it ends up like just choosing a ball with extra steps. I do really like the timer for the enemy to attack you. I feel like spawn rates of balls can be improved. I found myself just waiting around for an attack ball quite often. Also, do stats other than health and strength do anything?
Hey, thanks! Yeah i've definitely come to the conclusion that the ball fall counter should have been 3. Hindsight and all. The spawn rates were, unfortunately, completely random because we didn't have the time to implement something procedural. As for the stats, defense determines how much damage you take (it gets subtracted from the incoming attack value), but the rest do nothing. Accuracy and dexterity were meant to play into a miss chance mechanic that we also had no time to implement, and charisma was always a meme stat (because fucking look at them lmao). But yeah, thank you for your feedback!
Very cool concept! I loved making my creatures not based on their stats but their style. It took me a while to understand that you could swap any two balls that are next to each other and not just those that are neighbours on the line
This is such a cool idea and the art is amazing. I had the same issue of having to do back and forth moves once the best balls were at the bottom. But it was so fun I'm sure you could adjust the mechanisms and release this as a legit game. Very impressive

Great Game and good concept, but it won't spawn an attack ball for me so I am stuck with a high level but not attacking?
Really cool concept. Loved seeing how the creature evolved through the turns, kinda reminds me a bit of the creatures from Spore. Great entry!
