This game is so simple, yet so much fun to play! I'm pretty sure I'll see this game again in the GMTK 2026 video!

Great game, really fun simple rogue-like, really impressive for the amount of time. I think there may have been a bug where sometimes it thought I was holding z when I wasn't or vice versa, and I would either move or shoot when I wanted the opposite. But I still really enjoyed the game!

A tremendously beautiful game to play!

Amazing!

Really impressive to design and build such an elegant roguelike experience in such a short time. Unfortunately the game froze for me sometime into the run when I tried to enter next floor. Honestly good it did, I was about to use my evening n night with this instead of moving on to try other entries too :D

Really, really, really cool! I loved how simple the game was and how it wasn't too punishing. The game did freeze when I tried to walked onto a staircase, I think maybe because I input a movement command at the same moment I stepped on the staircase?
Still 10/10, would and will play again. I would buy it on steam for a few bucks in its current state, or even for mobile if you ported it.

Love the idea that everything you do is a resource that all runs out if used. Very creative, and very addictive!

Love the game style that easy to understand but still challenging to master.

This is the type of game that makes us all wonder if we are wasting our time sharing the same hobby. Amazing work. Amazing sound, Amazing aesthetic. Amazing in every sense.

You took a very simple premise, but cranked the polish to the max. Good job! Although there are a bunch of games this jam that do the "rogue-like with turn count" game, this is definitely the best I've played so far!

Good grief this is DRIPPING with style! It reminds me of the best Caves of Qud dungeons by way of Downwell's visual flourishes. The intuitive UI is laid out so cleanly you'd almost forget how it belies the depth of the combat mechanics, and the onboarding is gentle enough I never felt overwhelmed.

The artwork, sound design, palette choice, game-design; it's just the whole package. Such a good entry.

I really like the art style

Very addictive little rogue-like dungeon crawler you've made!

I am very impressed with how complete of a game you managed to create in just a few days. And the polish, my god. Mad props!

As for the game itself, it is great! I am admittedly struggling to get past level 8 or so, but then again I am stubbornly trying to kill everything even when it might be a better idea to just book it!

EDIT: Ok I managed to beat the game! For a game jam game, this is as good as it gets! I'd buy this if you released a "full" version!
Some feedback after finishing the game;

  • It was quite hard to keep track of the upgrades you currently had. would be nice to either have a character screen or use some of that empty space in the bottom right for some icons.
  • A few of the upgrades, such as the "extra damage for 3 floors" only worked for the next floor, not 3. There were a few similar inconsistencies with other power-ups as well.
  • Would be nice if the enemies started blinking or changed sprites a bit when they were close to death. Was a bit confusing to keep track of which enemy I had already damaged when there was 3+ of the same type in the room.

Again, if you expanded this game to maybe a couple of dungeons and / or classes that have different sets of upgrades and playstyles, this game would make the rounds steam!

Fantastic work, my favorite game in this jam by far!
