This is so sweet :(( A very clever interpretation of the concept, leaning more towards waiting than running out of time! I had a minor issue where the final dialogue SFX played, but there was no text in the dialogue boxes except for the character name tags. Would definitely play this in an endless mode. (Maybe sans the narrative 'cause a never-ending roadtrip is a bit grim...)
Soooo cute and I love the concept, adding new obstacles each day kept the loop fresh and added a new layer of strategy to the game. Fantastic submission ^^

Not gonna lie, I really liked this game! The creativity and artwork is amazing, the audio is well done. the mechanics are very good and overall i had a lot of fun playing it! Another thing I also liked is how the childhood experience of racing raindrops and "are we there yet" is integrated.

Amazing art. I'm so impressed at how the raindrops fall, and all the things they get affected by. Looks so real. I enjoyed the art, story, music, everything.
One of my favorites of the jam! It's a very cohesive game with narrative, gameplay, and art that just work well together. Could definitely see this as a full fledged indie game! The only thing was that I didn't really see a strong relation to the countdown theme.
EDIT: I thought about it more and I think this is a really good take on the countdown theme! I just felt myself getting lost in the gameplay, which makes you just forget about the timer.

Very very creative, I loved seeing the childhood experience of racing raindrops. Very fun seeing the raindrop you bet on winning, and the story and art is so cute too. I loved the soothing music and little voices the characters have, too! This game stands out very much from the other submissions that are more fast paced and are a race against the clock in a way that feels very refreshing :>
I did have a bug that makes the final cutscene not have dialogue, but other than that everything is very polished and fun!
Such a cute game! I love the story/framing of the game about going to see grandmother and how the kid names all the little dew drops and how each day has a different obstacle to switch up the game play. Good use of sound effects too for the raindrops. I often found myself just picking raindrops near a pre-existing streak (but away from an obstacle) and just clicking them as fast as possible to ensure I could get as many races as I could during the car ride. I managed to get a score of 1550 in the end. Fantastic job team!
What a beautiful little game. The visuals are so good and the premise is really relatable xP I didn’t really get the hang of predicting the fastest drop tbh, but just watching them slide down was kind of zen and kept me hooked anyway. Great job!
This game is adorable!! I love the characters, narrative, and the world so much! Not sure if this was just for me but for some reason the text in the ending scene didn't show up, just a blank dialogue box, but I still heard the character voices talking. Also, I think it would be cool if your scores had some impact (maybe even something as small as the player character celebrating when they get 1st, and disappointed when they get last) and a way to see your scores at the end!
