Fantastic game! You made this Go variant so so so approachable!

Knew about go for a while, but never took the time to learn the rules! Thanks to your entry, I managed to learn the basics and spent 15 minutes of pure pleasure doing so! :) Great game and great IDEA!!

I hate go.

5/5 it’s fun regardless of my profound hatred.

THIS GAME IS SO GOOD! Love the art and gameplay. Super enjoyable and I would keep playing if there was an endless mode. Great job!

This is such a cool game. It was really hard to get the hang of at first but it flowed very nicely once I understood it.

Loved the characters and art ^^ The game felt polished. The characters facial expressions changing based on the moves was such a nice touch.

Also got to try Go for the first time which I didn't expect doing tonight so thank you~

As someone who plays Go, this was such a good tutorial! Characters were super charming, I'm so impressed with how much was done

Great Game, loved the art style

Very beginner friendly introduction to Go that made me want to learn the game. I recently coded a Go-like game called Dots and this submission made me want to go back to that project and add some narrative elements. What algorithm did you use for the bot? Is it minimax with alpha-beta pruning?

This game is such a delightful intro to playing Go omg. Playing it as a beginner was honestly very hard at first, so I'm very grateful that the roguelike system offers so many upgrades.

I always wanted to learn Go that was an amazing occasion !! Amazing game such a nice idea !!

Really Really well polished game! it has a tutorial and everything! as a go lover i thought the AI was a little bit to simple! and the upgrade didn't feel necessary. but i guess it was cool to see all the cool upgrade there is! The character design is adorable and remind me of that girl in hunterxhunter haha! this is a impressive game to make in 96 hours and it really shows how efficient you guys must work as a team! really impressive in all aspect of the ratings.

Great art and polish, but a bit too much text

Just amazing top to bottom. I have no idea how just two people did this by themselves. Just... wow

HOW. DO GAMES. LIKE THIS. GET MADE. IN 96 HOURS.

I'm always a sucker for classic games with a twist, and this definitely is one of them. While I felt as if the game could be balanced a bit more (I found it very skewed towards the player, but I know a bit about playing go) that's basically a nitpick compared to everything else about the game. Not to mention the visuals are incredible and the narrative was endearing. Amazing job!

I feel like this game can only be some sort of deep, dark conspiracy by the super-secret Go society to convince people that Go is AWESOME... And, God, if it works.

Even though I utterly SUCK at board games, I absolutely LOVED everything about this. The characters, writing, art, music... and, surprisingly, the Go gameplay??? The VIBES were unparalleled. Never before has being horrible at board games made me fear for my life! Also, the suffocation analogy in the tutorial genuinely made it click for me. I actually went, "Oh, that makes sense!" And me understanding the rules of a board game is a feat to behold!

...I didn't expect to leave a counting game jam wanting to learn Go, yet here we are.

Overall, an impeccable game! HUGE praise to the team! And if you plan to keep on Go-ing, I'd love to see more of this game! Godspeed! (˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧

Could use a forfeit button tbh. Several times where I ended up with no useful moves to make (often barely any legal moves even) and a ton of turns still on the clock.

If there is one thing I've learned from this, it's that I have absolutely no fucking idea how to play go

The death-game presentation makes learning Go surprisingly fun, and the character art is fantastic!
