How does your game fit the theme?
Fifteen fits the theme of Count Down. This is because the entire premise of the game is how the player must find enough incriminating evidence before the count down ends, at which point the criminal will walk into his own apartment. A huge mechanism of the game is how the player has limited power to rewind time to forestall this countdown, but must use it wisely by timing and exploring strategically.

thank you so much!!

Nice artwork and a fun little puzzle game. I managed to finish it without using the rewind mechanic much, so it didn't feel essential to the experience. Overall, it was enjoyable, and I liked the detective vibe. Nice job!

Developer

thanks for the feedback!!! :D

Reminded me the game, Twelve minutes.  I really liked the puzzles.  I'm guessing they weren't challenging enough for some players, but I thought they were good.  Didn't actually need to rewind.  That's tough to get right in such games.  Maybe check out games by Don't nod like Life is strange.  I remember their time rewinding puzzle mechanic was especially good.

The game is a great start.  The main thing, the puzzles were good.  If you want to continue with it, I'd recommend ditching the time mechanic entirely.

Developer(+1)

thanks for the feedback!! yep I might expand on this game and make more puzzles to up the difficulty (so that the rewinding mechanism is more involved)

thanks for playing!! I'll see if I can try that Twelve Minutes game :DD

A fun experience with very lovely graphics! Like others said, my big issue was trying to wait until the last second to rewind, not noticing you needed to hold it down. So maybe making it clearer while pressing that it needs to be held.

That aside it was a fun game with a nice little story, especially the UN just having a time rewinder

Developer

thanks for the feedback! yeah i'll need to make it more obvious that it needs to be held. thanks for playing :DDD

A fun little puzzle. Interacting with objects could be finicky at times. I didn't realize I could interact with the safe since the bedside table was overriding it. I never interacted with the rewind mechanic, I lost my first try and beat it on the second without needing more time.

It was good though, good writing, nice art, the intro was very nicely done. The idea of the UN have time travel technology is funny to me.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah it was hard trying to make sure the hitboxes didn't overlap or anything but I think I could've made the bed just smaller next time :') LOL

But thanks for all the feedback!! I really appreciate you playing my game!

Wow this was super cool and I loved how polished everything felt. Art was super well done especially the intro ! I was able to do everything in one turn but I did not really feel necessary to rewind time as much but it was good experience overall

Developer

thanks so much!! wow you solved that fast! I'm glad you enjoyed the game!

I really had fun with this. I needed two tries to do it ... idk the time revert didn't work for me .. not really sure why. I pressed R when only a few seconds were left. (maybe it's just my bad)

The story is really cool and I liked the whole theme. The only thing that I noticed is that sometimes you can't interact with the computer so you have to go back and forth again. Otherwise cool detective game!

ohh  and going through the computer files is really cool!

Developer(+1)

thanks for playing! you need to hold r for the rewind not just tap :)

for the computer thing, yeah I made it so that when the player was pushing the chair it wouldn't detect the computer but now I realize it's just confusing so I'm thinking of getting rid of it! thanks for letting me know!

nice one and very fun to do. If there is a literal run meter for playing the game from the very beginning after it will be like 3 times. But good concept and the comment on each one is good

thanks for playing! :DD

Loved the intro and the dialogue box was very satisfying for some reason lol. Also, the bed is MASSIVE compared to the guy lol.

Developer

HAHAHA yes we love a humongous oversized bed

Great concept with a great intro! I liked hacking his computer. It looks like there are a lot of interesting things on the desk next to the computer, but I couldn't interact with any of them?

Developer

yepp the desk stuff was just design :') but maybe after the jam I could make them interactive :D

Fun game! You succeeded at making complete short game with really great art! It feels nice when you play and finish it, no puzzle felt unfair and I didn't mind one bit rummaging through this guy's stuff (maybe I'm a stalker at heart). Very well done!

Developer

thanks so much!!! i really appreciate it!

Short and fun. The cutscenes were great!

Developer

thanks so much!! glad you liked the cutscenes :)

This was a fun and short game. I enjoyed trying to find evidence. Great job!

Developer

thanks for playing!!

This was great! I loved that there was an opening cutscene, and the art is gorgeous. The game itself was fun to see the mystery, and I managed to win on my 2nd full run (first run I lost after my first rewind I lost track of my time lol). My only nitpick is that the hitbox for the computer is a finicky and I totally missed that on my first run. Although I love that you could push the chair around, that was a neat touch (was wondering if we had to restore the chair & lamp to the original positions before exiting). Overall great game!

Developer(+1)

I'm glad you liked it!! I was actually going to add the feature where you had to restore the chair back but I was running out of time lol

Awesome game! Managed to get it after my first rewind, I love a good investigation/mystery game. Unique spin on it with the rewinds.

Developer
