really fun game! I love the implementation of counting instead being a timer it's actually the shotgun shells. Very creative!

Would love to see what this becomes post jam, so much potential with this idea! Great work team, loved it! c:

Very cool, could be something in the future with a bunch of quality of life.

really cool game idea kind of gave me super hot vibes barrels could do with some improvement liked the idea you can use the barrels to launch yourself in the air if you time it right. really liked how you did the ammo flying out when you shoot great touch

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for playing! We're glad you enjoyed it. ^_^

Barrel improvements are already in the pipe for the next patch, so do check back next week!

The mouse sensitivity is so high that even if i set my mouse to the lowest setting it's barely playable. Which is sad cause this game looks very fun. If you update this and add a sens option ping me i definitely wanna try this again.

Developer

Yikes, so sorry you've had that issue! Can't say we've had that particular bug reported to us yet, can you confirm please whether the sensitivity is too high for you on both the WebGL and the PC version, if possible? We shall definitely sort that for the post-voting patch!

Fwiw, I also felt like the Sensitivity was very high. I don't think it was a "bug" as much as probably a preference thing? I just tend to play with look sensitivity a lot lower than what this game was expecting.

Developer(+1)

That is odd! For myself and the rest of the team the sensitivity felt "normal" so we didn't think to account for sensitivity preferences, clearly that was an oversight on our part. I have experienced other games in the jam with high base sensitivity so maybe it's something odd about how Unity interacts with some mouse hardware? Something to definitely account for in future.

For this project, we have a sensitivity slider ready to go for the next update!

I was using webgl, i'm on linux so i don't use the exe. i must say i sometimes do have this problem in other games too, just not quite to that extent, so it might be something with my mouse. Still, an option to change ingame sens would be much appreciated.

I had fun playing this! This is a great idea. Just wish it was more than one level :/

I hope to this game get more work and polish, I think its a great idea! I will play it. Following just incase you update it :)

Thank you so much playing, we're so glad you enjoyed it!

It definitely shall! We already have some bugfixes/improvements lined up to upload after the voting period ends, and (time permitting) we'd love to add more levels in the coming weeks as well.

This was fun, kinda reminded me of super hot for some reason

Developer

Thanks for playing! I would consider that a favourable comparison, so thank you!

Love the vibes, but the barrel physics were hard to deal with.

Developer(+1)

Erymis has fixed a lot of the jank since the deadline, and we're just waiting for the voting period to end to publish that update. It should definitely make those encounters less frustrating.  Thanks for playing and commenting though!

Maybe a little janky at times, but I honestly quite like the jank and the shooting mechanics! I played it a few times to see if there were any different ways to approach it. Nice job!

Developer

We're so glad you enjoyed, despite the jank! Thanks for playing and rating! ^_^

The music, art and general vibe were dope. I enjoyed it a ton. The barrel physics were a little jank, but overall sick game.

Very nice game ! Gave me super hot vibes with the slow motion and stuff like that, really cool and juicy, maybe the physics with barrels could be improved though, but it's okay !

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for playing, and for the feedback! Barrel physics improvements are already live in our internal build and will be included in an update when the voting period ends.

It was fun! The music was really good too, very fitting. The slow motion effect when killing opponents and to dodge the bullets made this feel a lot more enjoyable! Also the fact that the bullets have no distance limit allowed for very clever positioning to be rewarded!

Thank you so much for playing! ^_^

I enjoyed this one! I like the idea of having finite amount of ammo in a deperate situation :p

Also I really liked the cinematic part of reloading with the voice counting the ammo down. Nice job!

Thank you so much for playing! We're so glad you enjoyed our game!

Love the vibes, the music, and the bullet dodging -- really fun mechanics there. I felt like there weren't enough bullets / it was too hard to manipulate the barrels to get things where I wanted. Otherwise had a good time. Great game! On twitch, you asked for feedback, so feel free to ask me questions and I'll get back to you!

Developer

Thanks for the critique! I'm Arathamis from Twitch xD, The Composer and Sound Designer. I agree that the barrel is somewhat hard to get exactly where you want right now. It's already on my list to bring up for improvements! We also planned to have the female enemies shoot bursts, but didn't get the model in till a few hours before the deadline, so we couldn't make a new animation in time and program it to work properly.  We planned originally to have at least 1 Boss Fight by the deadline but didn't have the time to get it working. Our plan was to have levels of dealing with enemies and a boss fight after, where you had to use the environmental damage sources to beat it. Using barrels or shooting a light fixture down, etc. We had the barrel and dropping something, and wanted 1 more idea, but we knew we wouldn't be able to get all of that in by the deadline. After a few weeks, we will definitely have more to provide a more well-defined experience.  Do you have any other nitpicks we might be able to improve?

Submitted(+1)

I think that environmental damage is a cool concept in general, but personally I loved weaving between the enemies and getting straight shots because my focus (sightline wise) is on the enemies shooting at me, not the barrels that aren't threatening me. A boss fight would be great as long as it encourages repeated movement around the field as opposed to shooting while still. Also, I'm down for having a low number of bullets, but maybe not less than the number of enemies on the field -- that might just be me though. I didn't notice that the enemies were female or that there were female enemies -- if you want to differentiate enemies, I would suggest making the design more distinct to signify that I should expect to encounter different behaviors. Hope this helps! Would love for you and your team to check out my game too to give feedback!
