How does your game fit the theme?

Really awesome game buddo! 👌(╯‵□′)╯︵┻━┻  I should've found the game earlier!

The polish on the visuals, the sfx, the intro, the game mechanic being very understandable, makes it quite the kewl little game! Ya really did an awesome job with tying it all together for the theme! No notes from me :3!

Great job! xD

Fun game! The gameplay loop is quite addictive, with a very good polish on the juice :)

It’s nice you managed to give it an ending. As you wrote, there could be a bit of balancing if you wanted to make a longer game, but for a jam it is perfect!

Thank you! I might revisit this concept at some point when I'm done with my current game, I had a lot more ideas but no more time!

Great submission, this looks great and plays really polished! I did a have a few issues. One is the freeze someone else mentioned earlier happened to me a few times and another is that you can hit continue while in the menu to upgrade a bullet and you play the next round with the "Apply effect to:" overlay on screen. I'm a sucker for the pixelated style and it is well done here and the music fits it great. Sadly I wasn't able to get that far because the few times I had a good run the game froze, I had a run where I had the replayer upgrade twice after the 3th upgrade shop and was about to go crazy but then it froze a few rounds after. I wish I didn't have that issue but can't put it against you and if you are planning on fixing post jam I'd be down to help find the issue if you can't recreate it.

Hey thanks for playing and thanks for pointing out those bugs!

That's the part that sucks with gamejams. When you know you have huge bug but everything is locked so you can't push a fix until the review period is over. I'll definitely push a fix as soon as I can!
Thank you for your feedback :)

This is the most polished game I played so far! Really impressive stuff, awesome work!!!

I did encounter once when the game froze (could of been smth on my end, I'm not sure?) But this game is so well made I can easily put that aside!

Hey thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback!
It's not on your side, somebody else noticed a similar freeze. I'll try to fix this one after the jam.

This is really polished and well made especially for a game made in four days. The effects and visuals are really satisfying. This also kind of reminds me of noita, and I wish the reload deck upgrade could be applied to a certain card so that it reloads the cards to the left of that card, so that you could make a powerful setup in the first few cards and then reload it to double it up, although that might be too op. I also wish that the upgrades menu popped up immediately instead of pausing the game for a second and then popping up.

Thanks for the feedback and for the ideas!! The more I think about it, the more I'd love to make a v2 of that concept

That's a great idea. The game looks and sounds great, it was very fun to play and was very polished for a jam game.
I agree with other people that the upgrades were interrupting the flow a bit too much tho

Thanks for playing!
Yes, I totally agree with all the comments for sure, I think I ran out of time to properly balance things out and figure out a way to have less frequent upgrades (maybe having shops or stops after X number of waves instead would have helped, looping the projectiles until you reach that part).
Maybe if I revisit this concept !

Cool idea and very fun game, congrats!

You really went all in on the concept! I appreciated the bullet mechanic but I felt like it was hard to find a flow because I would keep getting interrupted by the upgrade menu. But it was still a fun time!

I loved the music. Nice game, it feels very complete!

I really enjoyed this game! It feels extremely polished for a jam title. My only real gripe is that I think 10 bullets is too little. The upgrade menu popping up every three seconds got slightly annoying. But other than that, this is a fantastic entry!

really good audio and art, gave it a good rating on both of those end

A really fun shooting game. I gave it a pretty high rating.

However, the upgrade system pops up a bit too frequently, a little annoying.

I really like the art style and the sound design

I enjoyed playing and I wish there was more!

Amazing game, thoroughly enjoyed playing this one, wish there was more.

Very nice game! I had fun and the upgrades are really cool. The countdown theme was nicely explored.

Such a fun idea! I love combining the powerups and having them apply to the numbered bullet I shoot in order. :) Would definitely play more!

This was a phenomenally well polished game for a game jam. The music, sfx and artstyle were fantastic and really cohesive and the gameplay was amazingly addictive right from the start.

This is the first game I've played this cam that has left me wanting more! I need a steam release now so I can burn hours on it!
