What a take, it get more stressful with the level, so much things break 🤣

Submitted(+1)

This is so funny I can't handle it.
the levels where interesting and suprising every time, most of my gameplay was "this can break!?" then failing to fix it
super clever idea!!

I don't see anything like this in the jam, this was so much fun, I loved that I was freaking out like a 3 stooges episode just banging shit together. So much fun, made us laugh, ty, love yous!

Very hectic game and it's funny to see a rocket launch missing a part or two. One time the whole body is missing and it still managed to launch! But it feels a bit unfair when a part breaks right before launch and doesn't leave you with enough time to repair it. Still, the gameplay is absolutely chaotic!

Developer

Game is designed for pieces to not break off within 2x their repair + 1s!

I understand what you mean though, for the pieces that take .15s to repair, thats 1.3 seconds to react lol. Thanks for playing!

Such an awesome game! I got soooo damn stressed, but the confetti celebration did it all worth it :D Mechanics was very easy to understand and pick up, but it takes a lot of focus to keep your tounge in your mouth while trying to juggle all the tasks! :D Great game, great execution! <3

Really sick game! I love the chaos of the gameplay and it makes me want to go for it more and more and get a higher star rating each time! Though I do feel like the jump from level 2 to 3 (and some other levels) are quite substantial (though this could just be a skill issue thing on my part). I quite enjoyed the gameplay and I can easily feel the panic of when the SFX starts counting down which is cool audio design! I do wish there were more of a narrative integration and the artwork does need a slight polish to make everything more coherent but overall, I had a lot of fun with this one! Great work!

Submitted(+1)

Looks really good! SFX work well, too.

I think the premise is really clever, and fits well with the count down theme.

My main concern is that the game gets very fiddly. I think there may be an issue with the inputs: because mouse click is used both to position the parts and to use the selected tool, I often had a lot of trouble getting the game to register the tool use. I wonder whether changing the control scheme might work better: for example, use E to use the selected tool.

Developer(+1)

Not a bad idea at all. Right now tool use has priority over picking something up if the tool selected matches the item its hovering over, but yea, I was playing around a lot with that aspect cause it is a little funky haha. Thanks for the feedback and not just a generic "good game, love it" hah

I love how stressfull it gets the more you progress. Eventually too many things are happening at once and when I get it just before the timer runs out it feels sooo good.

Submitted(+1)

Love the sound when you win lol.

Submitted(+1)

Really cool.

It gets pretty stressful as everything falls apart right before launch tho lol.

A really fun and creative concept! Repairing the rocket was hilarious, and the level design was excellent. Great job!

Submitted(+1)

Great concept and execution!
A little on the stressful side for me haha  but I wont let that detract from the fact that it was very creative and pulled off to a great standard.

Submitted(+1)

Really cool idea! I love the concept, however I’m definitely not cut out for any of this. It does get pretty overwhelming, even on the easy levels, and I end up launching a mere suggestion into space. Overall, still an amazing idea with an excellent execution, that could use some balancing for us mere mortals lol.

Submitted

Great idea with a clean excecution, no idea how you beat the hard levels lol

Submitted(+1)

Love the ambiance! It's a very cute game I really like what you've done with it. I suck at this game hahaha on the third ship I kept messing everything up and getting  stars XD My favourite part of this game is all the different ships with each their own visuals and structure!! There's so many of them I'm very impressed.

Submitted(+1)

Yup yup yup I'm in, gonna keep on playing this one.

One thing (that also happened to us) is giving a little more feedback on successful tasks done and maaaaybe a bit of anticipation feedback when things are about to break.

Developer(+1)

I like the anticipation on break, like some sparks or wiggles. Great feedback!

Love the sound effects! I was a bit confused in the beginning but I got the hang of it, there was one minor graphical error I saw where the yellow arrow was point you could see some weird lines show up, but other than that its a pretty good game! Congrats!

Nice game , love space and love this game , well done

Wonderfully stressful. Something very funny about the ship launching with half of it still on the pad. Ship designs are great too. Difficulty does spike hard after the second one. Good stuff!

Check out my game if you get a chance, a chess roguelike called Final Gambit: /jam/gmtk-jam-2026/rate/4813276

A great little game.  Very simple, but rage inducing.  Now, I know how NASA engineers feel.  Cool sound effects, especially the actual countdown voice.  I didn't see that mentioned in the credits.

Developer (1 edit)

Not calling you a liar, but it is in the assets haha

Glad you enjoyed the game :D
Honestly shoutout to Mark (and his team? does mark have a team?) for dropping the list of assets!

Oh, sorry.  Didn't know how I missed that.
