I liked the feel of the movement, it was very fun to dash around the levels, wall jump, etc. I liked the wall hang too, reminded me of celeste. I didn't really understand the purpose of the timer in this one. The punishment for the timer running out is the same as a death, and the timer itself stays running through regular deaths. For this reason, the timer just sort of turns into a randomised death mechanic. It's not timing how fast you can do a room (it can't because it persists though death). That being said, I did have fun playing. Nice entry :)

Thanks for your compliments 😊

Music was great! But man this was a tough one hahahaha

Developer

You should play Celeste than, haha. Thanks for playing dude.

Amazing game! Nice music and great animations!

Developer

That’s for playing dude 😎

Very good direction that this game is going! You should definitely take this game further, some errors though with majorly the dashing failing, but great with almost every other aspect with this, great job!

Developer

Thanks for reviewing our game, we have started to work on a patch (known as the “Thankyou Patch”). Which has important bug fixes, more movement mechanics, and a special side A. So wait till patch to see the final game. Thanks for playing 😁

Great art, timer felt a bit weird for some parts, I also kept getting stuck on the floor sometimes, I love the vibe tho, Nice job !!

Collision problem, working on it. Thanks for playing (why am I acting like a robot now?? 🤖)

Very polished movement and game feel, there's a story , which is rare in this jam I think, I'd suggest you make the player decelerate faster because he kinda slides a bit when stopping , as well as enhancing the wall jump because it wasn't the best ,and also decrease the dash power to maintain more control over player. Overall, a great game, Keep up the good work (and maybe have a look at my game, I'm sure you'll like it)

Developer

Thanks for your feedback (and actually pin pointing out details, shh everyone will get it 👀). Already working on the patch. Thanks for your review man 🙂

Feels polished, but the timer is kinda frustrating, especially when you need to wait for a platform to move.

Developer

Yeah, this is what we can make in a 4 day jam 🤣. Already working on a patch to fix your boredome.

The controller is responsive and the music is very good. However, sometimes it gets stuck in the middle of the floor and doesn't move.

Developer

Yeah, that’s collision issue (as we are randomly changing room layout, and havn’t that much time to fully adress this issue). Well we are doing this now. A new patch will be availale after the results, which has bug fixes. Thanks for playing 😃

That was fun! It took me a bit, but I beat it! I liked the reset mechanic (probably because my game has a similar one), and having played Celeste, it was pretty familiar. I kept trying to use the lights as extra jumps though.
Developer

Thanks dude for playing and ACTUALLY finishing it (and thanks to others who did). Even I haven’t completed my own game, lol

Submitted

I totally get it. I'm still playing my game since I haven't beat the final level yet.

Submitted

I would appreciate it if you checked out my game, I haven't got many reviews yet, and I would like to see how far you can get.

Developer

Yeah will do in a later day, also just completed my game, LOL

Thanks!

Love platformers! Liked the responsive controls and the overall atmosphere of the game. Loved the pixel art and the dynamic music. Great project!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for reviewing dude 😎

The game has a very strong opening! The rain, the atmosphere, the text effects and particles are all really wonderful! I definitely agree with some of the other comments about the platforms respawning when the timer ends. I also noticed that the music will cut out for a minute/ a few minutes before restarting sometimes. But the music itself is fantastic and the pixel art is so beautiful! Well done!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, the complete stop or music for some duration was intended to gave u feel of loneliness. Will add an sfx at background to make it not som much “quite”. Thanks for playing 😁

WOWOWOWW This game is so polished! Is those parallaxed backgrounds I see? Really smooth gameplay and concept. Also thank you for playing our game!

Developer

Thanks for playing our game dude 😁

Really cool game! The level of polish is great for a jam, I love the art, music, and effects. The rooms changing on the reset was also a cool idea!

I think moving around in big open areas with room to make mistakes felt great, but I personally found it to be a little too fast to feel in control for the more precise challenges. Not really a criticism, I’m just bad at really fast games. I think a faster way to reset the timer would be nice too so I don’t have to wait around if I fail a jump

Overall I enjoyed it, even if I couldn’t quite get to the end. Well done 😁

Developer(+1)

Will make controlling the character more smoother, thanks for your feedback dude 😎

whoa super cool game. graphics are fantastic, controls are not bad, and the platforming elements are neat. i struggled a bit with the controls even though i felt they weren't bad, not sure exactly what the issue was, or if maybe i just needed to get used to them?

overall great work!!

Developer

Maybe you are playing tooo much different games rn (not me definitely, lol). Thanks for playing 😁

Jess put it best, REALLY good presentation! Controls felt wonky and the levels felt a tad claustrophobic. A stronger tutorial to the controls would have been nice.

Developer(+1)

Working on that, thanks for playing 🙂

The fantastic pixel artwork paired with a banging soundtrack makes for such an atmospheric and intense precision platforming escape!

Developer

Thanks for your review 😃

Really great visuals, theming, and music in this entry! The controls were a bit inconsistent for me--wall jumping felt like it had a 50% chance to not launch me upwards, and I wish that either turning around mid-movement was more slippery, or letting go of movement keys to stop the character was less slippery. As is, it felt a bit too snappy and a bit too slippery at the same time. I also felt like the countdown should reset on death, and I feel like I only noticed the room changing once every other countdown reset. Often, it would stay exactly the same.

All in all, your team did a great job! I hope you continue to make projects like this.

Developer

Thanks for your great feedback! will fix that issues in patch later.

Developer

Working on fixing wall jumps (and adding movement+ mechanics in the coming patch). Thanks for playing

Very nice game, LOVED the introduction, only issue for me is the collisions, sometimes I would get stuck because I guess the tiles were not well aligned but was not a major issue and still enjoyed the game. Another thing was the controls, the character felt very slippery which made some levels very difficult for precisioon plateforming.
Overall very solid entry and agin amazing immersion at the beginning !!!
