Absolutely whimsical experience! The title alone tells me all I need to know. Being left to grow a garden of my on making already makes for a relaxing time, but the integer sequence system adds the right amount of depth! I had to really think and plan out how I wanted to layout my garden with the limited amount of days I had! And the cherry on top is the music and beautiful art! It helped create such a tranquil and serene atmosphere.

I would have liked a simple tutorial on how the day system worked, I only say that because I want to maximize my gardening efficiency of course! And sometimes clicking would cause a softlock in the counter.

Cheers to the team! Definitely coming back to tend to my garden again!

A gorgeous and tidy garden! Thank-you for your kind words :)

We have some ideas for future development, will see how we all feel post jam results! :D

Lovely game!

The art style, combined with the music set me a little uneasy. Still, props for the concept. Nice work!

As others have said, this is a really nice and cozy experience.

The only thing I would change is making the day progression more intentional - for example, when I clicked on the game to get it into focus, I accidentally skipped a day (the same goes for misclicks, etc.).

Also, as a non-native speaker, I didn't know what a trellis was, but that's on me. :D

Really cool and thoughtful entry!

Sadly, for some reason uploading images to comments is not working for me right now, so I can't share my garden. :(

so gorgeous and calming! the music really lulled me into a zone for a moment there. i filled my garden with lots of lillies - they're so lovely.

Developer(+1)

Beautiful gardening! No clematis on this run but there's always next time ;)

Nice little cozy game with great art. The music reminded me a bit of Everywhere at the End of Time (which is probably not intentional). Maybe a sort of calendar system would make it easier to see which flowers can be planted on which days.

Really cool art and premise!

I loved creating my sunflower field -

Developer(+1)

How did you do this????

(PS thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed!)

Submitted (2 edits) (+1)

It was through math and careful planning :)

Developer(+1)

Spectacular work 👏

No but for real.... there's only ten Fibonacci numbers between 1 and 100??

Love it, but please tell us how you broke the game! XD

EDIT: Ah! thank you for letting us know. I have deleted your reply to avoid too many others doing this also...

GORGEOUS, BEAUTIFUL, I LOVED THE ARTTTT!

Literally nothing beats seeing hand-made new art and doing it all in such a crunch amount of time we have!

This was cozy and perfect and hope to see more games made by this lovely team! Had so much fun streaming this game and  love meh new garden ૮꒰ ˶• ༝ •˶꒱ა ♡

Thank you very much!

We felt like last year we had solid art but didn't showcase it well enough so the plan this year was to make it all about the art :) I think it's really paid off.

Your garden is just perfect! :D

I have to go back and reduce every rating I have done for artwork by a whole star just so that this game can have the 5star artwork spot. Top tier. So unique!

Developer(+2)

Thank-you very much for those kind words! :D Our artist was very pleased :)

The art is amazing

Super original entry! its a very cozy and beautiful little game that hides a bit of botanical strategy once you look into it. Congrats!

Wonderful game!!! I was curious about the ‘Mathematics et al’ in the credits to start, but was quickly enlightened. The art is beautiful, the music very fitting and the restriction of which flowers are available made a fun planning element. Even deciding when to water to not miss a rare flower was a neat decision.

A beautiful flower garden

Developer(+2)

Thanks for playing! That is a beautiful garden you have cultivated :)

Really clever mechanic, as others have said the only real problem was lack of feedback on the watering can, and I was starting to lose track of where I had planted seeds when it came time to water them!

Submitted(+2)

Cozy game with the potential to completely min-max when you pick which flowers. Unfortunately I only clicked the flowers my first go-around instead of dragging them, so my garden remained empty ^^"

Very cute game! It's so relaxing and so daunting at the same time, I don't know why but the clicker makes me feel like it's time till death and not retirement, since gardening is such a retirement hobby. Uploading my garden doesn't seem to work at the moment sadly, but It was beautifull (filled with poppy's! ). And fun fact, this is the second gamejam game I've played with 'we'll meet again' as the ending song, but this time it's with less raccoons with raspy voices :p

Nice job!

This is sooo cutesy!!!! I love cozy games so much! It took me a while to figure out how everything worked, but once I did, I restarted and created a new garden from scratch. You can probably tell from my screenshot, but I didn't really get a grasp on the spacings of the plants hahhaha.

I did notice that the bottom bar seemed to duplicate itself and then go off screen whenever I grabbed a plant. Otherwise, this was an really good, bug-free experience! I would play a full version of this!

Developer(+2)

Your garden looks great!

I did hit the bug of replicating flower bar once, but never managed to recreate it so we just moved on XD Jams amirite?

We have some ideas of a full version so will see how it does in the jam :D Thanks for playing.

This. Is. Amazing!!! I adore the art and overall premise of the game, it’s just so original and creative and makes me want to start doing gardening. There’s nothing else quite like it in this game jam, and definitely one of my favourite entries so far.

One tiny nitpick: the last number among the Lucas numbers that are at most 100 is written to be 78 in the Lily of the Nile’s flower description, even though it’s actually 76 (Mechanically, it works fine though; you can select the flower and plant it on move 76). Also, 1 and 8 are missing from the powers of two in the Oriental Poppy flower description, but I noticed this just now so I can’t remember if the powers of two functioned properly during my playthough (I think they did). As someone who likes mathematics a lot, I feel like I had to point this out ;)

Here’s a picture of my finished garden: image.png

Thank-you for playing!

Good spot on the numbers, we changed the lists around a lot and I missed it in some of the descriptions clearly... oops... I'm sure Gauss would understand :P

That's a fantastic garden! You even managed to get some trellis in as well :D

It's a good, cosy, relaxing game.

A cool cozy game with beautiful art! Though it got a bit boring after a few dozen in-game days.

Really cozy game! I wound up going a bit crazy with a really wild, full garden :D
