Hey, complete game with 1st try! Really cool athmosphere of noir detective. I was hoping there would be more than two puzzles, but even with this. game is really cool for jam. Like art and design of main characters. GL!
Absolutely adorable game! Don’t let “bytesized”‘s rudeness get to you, this is a masterpiece as far as I care. Great art, neat mechanics. I like how the clues are a little bit obvious, but also totally missable. I do wish the red llines would take into account where on the object they were placed - would have been cool to be able to draw a line from each paw print to the actual feet/paws of the characters in the first case, and from the top of Bug’s head in the diagram to the dog in the photo with Bug and the bunny. Other than that this is a 10/10 and I hope to see this get updated after the jam! :)
Artwork is cute and great, but sadly theres a lot of jank/lack of polish in some areas, for example I can see out of bounds with the camera really easily
"paws menu" is funny
Apart from some things like polish and evidence not being zoomable, this is a great detective game. The characters also being animals helps with identifying the criminals. Great game
The game definitely has it's rough edges and could use some more polish, but it's super charming with cute mysteries and really fun character designs.
One thing, i'd would wanted to see is if there was a way to zoom into the evidence? Unless I missed it or my game broke, I had a really hard time reading the blood reports on the second case, still managed to solve it though.
Hate for this game will not be tolerated. Great game. If you're gonna hate on this because being a furry is gross, you only have yourself to be angry at. Not the dev.

Like, could she have been drawn less busty? Sure, I guess? But also, that’s just??? What some people’s bodies look like??? It’s not like this is some skin-riddled shooter with scantily clad women sold to twelve year olds for 20 bucks a pop lmao

Awww, the premise of this was so cute. Love the film-noir feel to the cut scenes. I struggled a little with remembering how to interact with items after starting the game. Maybe some easy way to pull up controls would be useful? Some of the text was also a bit small for my eyes. A fun one regardless!
Very very cute characters and solid setting! As a fan of detective games like this was very nice and I love the detail of being able to draw red lines between elements on the board, but I do wish that I could zoom in on the items. I'm not sure I see the point of the map for the moment, since the locations weren't all that important in the cases, but I do see how it could be used if this game had more time for more cases!

For 4 days, that's awesome, full two cases, with branching cut-scenes. Music and art is great, the cases too. The board lacks the ability to zoom tho, and a minor glitches here and there.
I love all the art for the cutscenes! I liked organizing the evidence on the board, but some of the text was veeeeery small.

The game was amazing! Its a fun puzzle to read the documents and put together who did the crime, I do wish you could zoom in on the documents though. I find it funny that you jump straight from petty theft to murder on your first day.
I love the atmosphere, I'd totally live in purrburg! I do wish i could zoon into the photos, i was super invested in the cases.

Love the cutscenes and art! The deduction gameplay is pretty good, however there could be a bit more feedback for selecting the wrong character (while still having a second chance) beyond reducing time. Nice work, very impressive for such a short time!
Cat Got Your Case is an incredibly fun detective game! I really enjoyed solving the cases. My only small complaint is that I wish there had been a zoom feature to inspect the photos more closely. If the game had Korean localization and more cases to play through, I'd gladly pay for them. Nice work, friend! I had a blast!
(Rocket's review) the game is enjoyable, and i wish i could've kept going, but the images were so small it was literally unreadable, and that kinda makes it hard to figure out a case
My first attempt at the game, I couldn't figure out how to do anything. I went back to the menu, checked the controls, tried to go back in and only saw a black screen. Decided to not give up though and restarted the game... and I'm very glad I did! Thanks to my hard work, two criminals are now off the streets! Cute game, incredible detail on the case reports, overall a good time once I got past the startup issues!
Lovely art style and the cutscenes were really cute! I'm not sure if the 3d environment was the best way to set this game up. I think maybe a 2d menu system, while less visually interesting, would play much better. Cool game overall though!
