A fun and compelling entry! Great job!

Feels really big, especially for a game jam game. I like the concept a lot and once you get the hang of things its very fun. My only minor gripe was footstep sound would only come from one side of my headphones depending which way I was moving and it made me paranoid for a while thinking something was coming haha

Thank you!

Ah that makes sense, I hooked up most of the audio to be stereo for a better immersion so you can tell more where sounds are coming from, I just must have forgotten to remove the stereo effect from the footsteps. Whoops!

It was hard to get it at first, but I did get the premise. and its a really fun and well thought out concept :) glad you made it.

Overscopped I think ? Type of game you need to play a lot to start grasping it.

I definitely got a little carried away with features, I kinda knew that most people would play a bit and then move on, but for those few who did enjoy it enough to keep going and explore all the features and put more time in I wanted a cool long-term experience!

Revisiting this game post submission. On second play, I really enjoyed it. Enemies who survive the night stay during the day, I just have no weapon now. Not sure if thats an oversight, but the game is super fun!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! You're right it was a tossup between keeping the player's weapons out until every zombie was killed or letting them repair and build stuff right as the day started. I wanted to have the zombies burn in the sunlight as like a fun game mechanic and they die pretty quickly. My thought is it would be a bit more annoying if there was a zombie somewhere stuck damaging a harvester or something and the player couldn't get to repairing or building until it died. Either way, its only like 2 seconds of in-between time :)

Iconic game, craft/explore + real time tower defense. Really tightly made and revolves around the theme well!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I really enjoyed your game too! Super cool that a few streamers played it as well :)

Love this game! Great job!

Looks very clean. The day night cycles felt a bit short.

Fun game that easily be expanded on in the future! some of the audio was a bit iffy, ending very quickly or only seemingly to play in one ear of my headphones. Overall quite good, well done!!

i’m glad you enjoyed it!

Sorry about the audio, I did make it so that most of the game actions were attached to stereo audio, so if you punched a tree to your right, it would play in your right headphone. This also worked for where the zombies were on the screen when they attacked your buildings that way it was much easier to intuitively sense where the sound is coming from and go and stop the zombies.

I’ll definitely have to review the audio again when I improve the game!

Fun game! If I had my mouse with me I think I would be able to do better at it…

This was great, combining tower defense and survival crafting game. And the upgrades really elevated the whole thing. Definitely impressive for a game jam.

Submitted(+1)

This was great! I think you definitely succeeded in creating a great .io style game.

There were some times I didn’t want an upgrade but I think I was forced to pick one anyway so I got the enemy upgrade. I figured losing half of my resources to reroll was too big a cost.

So cool! Concise, clear and interesting.

Really impressive that you coded this entirely in HTML! We also went with a build/defend day/night cycle, but focused more on tower defense than survival/resource management.

Really impressed by the project!

Wow I survived 10 full says. The final monster was unexpected and scary seriously. Loved it. Btw there's some issue with your itch page, was stuck in the game. I had to search for your game in a new tab to find this page for posting review.

This was very fun, I tried replaying on different difficulties and impossible really was impossible lmao. Good job on this one! I hope to see more work on this game! :) <3
