Too good. I had to stop myself from playing more. Really good take on 2048, and the music slaps. Hope you release a full version of this on mobile!
i'll do :)
A great take on 2048 gameplay. I like that there were actual levels instead of just endless play. The power ups to choose from in-between levels was a great touch and definitely added more to the gameplay. Overall, as a fan of the original game, I played this for quite a while too. Well done!
Cool game! love the postprocessing and audio effects! reminds me of Balatro. All the designs are very cohesive. Super enjoyful game experience!
Amazing roguelike, super addictive. Some of the powers lacked detailed explanation and the distinction between skill and modifier is still not clear to me. I loved the two goals towards which player has to optimize their build. Has a lot of strategic depth.
I love 2048, so this definitely caught my eye and did not disappoint! You took a famous base, made it fit the theme in a purposeful way, added a modern twist with the powerups, and then put it under a very satisfying layer of polish with the visuals and sound. Absolutely perfect submission for this jam!
You could probably look at making this a more complete game if you built out synergies and weren't afraid to get "wacky" with them, a la Balatro. I got a combo where I was generating double tiles and earning more points the more full it was; I could only imagine if I had something like "merging 3 creates explosions" with that and just clearing up.
Also, just kind of appreciate how it made my brain rewire to know that "big number bad" when I'm organizing. Again, that's the spirit of the theme done well!
Ooooh a twist on a classic! Vibey, arcadey fun. This was super smart. Amazing job!
A familiar idea, but executed exceptionally well. Nice game feel and visuals. One small issue: in the web build in Chrome, the game doesn't seem to capture keyboard focus properly, so using the arrow keys also scrolls the webpage.
WOW! great execution, love the minimal graphic style, the music and feel of it. would love to see a full release of this!
I really enjoyed the satisfaction of smashing the blocks down, but the CRT shader made the tutorial text very hard to read. That being said, it was mostly self explanatory anyway so not a big deal
Nice and chill game!
Thats very carzy to play i liked the use of this in cooldown theme
Really clever inversion of an existing concept, great chill/relaxing vibes.
Really great submisson. I like the idea and presentation wise this game is great. I don't have complaints
Great job :)
Man, this is genius! Do you have plans to release it? I would love to play a full game (especially if it would be mobile).
it was such fun to make, I plan to completely rewrite this (since code is ugly due to lack of time) and maybe release a full game
Very good game, the visuals are excellent and the concept is very fun.
nice game !!
Enjoyed music and sound effects, cool reverse of the normal game with all the add-ins.
Really fun submission! I love how much you added to the game, with the spells and synergies. Easily one of the best games I've played during the jam! Just wish I could play the game in fullscreen :(
I always like seeing games that takes an existing classic and puts their own spin on it, and this is no exception. Reversing the order of merging is a clever way of sneaking in a countdown mechanic to pressure the player!
Very addictive and well rounded game, I love the concept and use of the theme is so unique! I especially like the presentation and audio! Great work!
