Superb! This game does a lot with so little and it's executed really well. Love how the player sets up their own chaotic build, makes falling victim to it even more tragic. Bonus points for allowing multiple cards to be played each turn too.

Faint my beloved (seems a bit op since it negates the other effects when they appear together)
I think at first you could have more hearts or start with a tutorial because I picked something like hold and double click at the start and was a bit confused on how different interactions work together

Got to round 12. Such a cool idea for a rogue-lite deck-builder. I found that I had to try to get as many duplicate cards as possible to keep the rhythm somewhat predictable. Great music and sound effects. Had a great time playing!

I managed to get to round 10. This is a great idea, and I liked the juice, the sound effects, the music when you die, it's all very polished. I did find some of the card mechanics to be a little cheatable. For example, the slow/fast cards don't play into the memory part at all, since you can see the wheel go slow/fast (it complicates things later on when there's more than one card, but it's still readable). Secondly, I found that for many rounds I was able to select copies of cards I already had in my deck. This seems like the most optimal strategy, as it reduces the amount of reacting you have to do. I managed to get to round 9 with only "faster" and "early". And as soon as I was forced to put that third card in, and combine it with the other two, that's when I lost. I feel like there needed to be more incentive to use cards like double click or bait, as they are otherwise just way worse for you than faster, early or slow. Perhaps they scale better, but it would have been cool if they gave you more health or something. Maybe I didn't get far enough. Anyway, I hope this doesn't all sound too negative because I did ultimately enjoy the game!

Only got to round 5, but I really enjoyed it! Very simple premise, but the cards add so much variety. When I had lots of cards one after the other, it got hard quickly. Overall great game!

I never expected that such a simple button function could develop into such a tense rhythm. It's really interesting.

Such a clever twist on the deckbuilder formula, I didn't expect "just pressing a button" to become so tense! The growing stack of modifiers kept me locked in the whole time, i was using like 110% of my brainpower hahaha. I definitely got baited by a few cards, that was really fun! Some of the descriptions are a bit unclear, but probably it's just me not understanding the card until it actually appears in the game, which made me lose a few times. Maybe showing a little animation on how the card works when you are choosing it could help, but obviously I couldn't expect that from a jam game. Great job, keep it up!!

The unpredictable countdown and memory-card idea make a simple button press feel really tense!

I think this was the first game I played before the submission window ended, didn't realise I'd be one of my favourite's first try! Still in love with the steady build of things to keep collectively in mind, combined with the simplicity I can "zone-out whilst locking-in" to. Also noticed second-time around the slight forgiveness on the timing window, it's a small touch that makes things feel much fairer, especially as the difficulty ramps! Big fan.
