Using the unity physics to stick to the wall was actually a great idea, really made it nice to assess the current situation. For this type of games I think that some easy to implement game design tricks could do a lot, like non linear speed, coyote time or jump buffering. What I'd recommend is that you place a circular shadow under your character so that jumps are fairer to gauge. Other than that congratulations on publishing a game for this jam and implementing everything.

The mechanics that I can slide on the wall was good, but the level is too hard to get through. I hope you can make a good parkour game!

Might be on my end only but the sensitivity seems to be too high.

Other than that a nice and simple take for the lovers of the parkour genre. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! You actually can change the sensitivity, but I hid the settings button a little bit. If you play in the browser, you have to press Escape to leave fullscreen, then press Escape one more time to hit 'Settings'. There you'll find a slider for volume and sensitivity!

Oh then great, my bad for not finding it, I'll give it another spin!

Developer

Thank you, have fun!

Interesting premise I think I just have a skill issue

Developer

Haha, thank you for playing

Not enough skill for this game, i think, found it really hard to play, nice art work though

Developer

Thanks

I got a little whiplash jumping from the nostalgic, soft piano intro to the energetic music of the main game lol. I had a great time playing this! It's always fun just running around doing parkour! Great work with your game!

Developer

Haha, sorry for that, but thank you for playing!

all my years of CS Surf maps could not prepare me for how trash I was at this

Developer(+1)

Haha, maybe try to jump first and run then, but thanks for playing

Solid premise for a challenging platformer!

I did manage to beat it, but it took some time before I got a "feel" of how the controls worked. Usually in platformers you give the player some "coyote time" or buffer their input so that you have some leeway when timing a jump. But in this game, I found that it was much easier to jump first and then input movement, so it took a bit to get used to it.

If you adjusted the movement a bit, I think this game would be much more enjoyable to play.

Great work :)

Thank you, I'll fix that!

Good challenge level, but a little coyote time would let the gameplay feel more fair

Little hard, camera was a tad too sensitive, but I dig the music. Nice work!

Developer

Thanks for playing! You actually CAN change the sensitivity in the settings menu, but I definitely need to make that Menu more visible in a post-jam update! Appreciate the feedback!

Nice job! I think it could benefit from some velocity handling (you know how mario slides a bit before stopping?) and coyote time. Good job!

Developer

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean! Coyote time is already on my list. Thank you for playing

I do not have the skill for this but I know ball when I see it! Nice one

Developer

Thank you :)

I'm sorry, I'm waaaay too bad to play your game haha. I tried a couple of times but couldn't get very far! But good job on your game, and congratulations on finishing and submitting it for the game jam!

Developer

Haha yeah, it's sometimes a bit hard to play, but thank you for playing!
