How does your game fit the theme?
We represented "countdown" through the passing time in the hourglass you're trying to escape. The player embodies a corporate worker, and our main vision was to represent the stress of deadlines and the sense of lost time one can feel in corporate life — the repetition getting faster and faster to increase productivity, until the inevitable burnout arrives (game over).

I didn't expect different ball shapes to add this much depth, cool game and idea, well done

Pretty fun game once I got the hang of it. Also surprisingly a lot of depth in the later waves with the different ball types.

Just a small nitpick, but it would be nice if the hourglass pixel size was consistent with the character size, even wen zoomed in, the giant pixel just looks off.

The idea is good but the sand is too slippery to step on. The game would be better if the slippery is removed.

Interesting idea to just turn the hourglass upside down to progress through the levels, it just makes sense.

Also I got stuck between grains of sand and couldn't move :D

That's a cool game, it feels metaphorical lol. I had a lot of fun despite it being a bit difficult

Unique take on the countdown turning it very literal as the thing that kills you lol.

I enjoyed the movement, having to navigate the sand to reach the protection items, and the concept
I was a little annoyed with the capsuleshape for the player making you slide off sand sometimes.

Overall, very cool!

I love how you interpreted the theme of the jam. Its a really creative concept and actually really fun. The one thing is that it seems as if the balls can prevent the player from jumping in time but it's a really solid game. Nice job!

Hard and fun at the same time. Good job!

Like it. The controls are kinda hard to use but pretty fun. Good job! :)

Really good works Guys

The controls feel really good, snappy and precise. If I had to change something, I'd make the sand square, at least the hitbox, as a circle each grain is very slippery and makes it hard to land properly avoiding the other grains. Overall really fun :)
