A really polished puzzle game! You did a great job with the visuals, mechanics, & the usage of the gamejam's theme. A very fun and satisfying game to playthrough.
Really well made! I usually struggle with puzzle game jam games because my brain is mush after jamming and my brain looks like a soggy cigarette but this was laid out so well I enjoyed it.
I also skipped a few entries to play this something about the hopping gif appeals to my caveman brain.
Especially proud of eventually getting all 40 bombs home on level 7 and like other have said this has a nice roller-coaster-tycoon-esque aesthetic and sound palette.
Well done!
Very cool pixel art, reminds me of rollercoaster tycoon honestly! The puzzles are very fun to solve as well.
Well done! :)
Easily one of my favorite entries this jam. Gameplay, level design, sound, art — all excellent. Honestly the cute robot on the cover is what got me to click in the first place.
I put about two hours in and finished with a perfect score on every level. That said, I'm still curious about level 15: is it actually solvable with every tile placed up front? I tried for ages and kept hitting two merge points where the turn tiles didn't have enough passes to handle both flows. In the end I ran one branch first, then paused to lay down the other branch's turns. Was that the intended approach, or did I miss something?
One small thing I'd consider: the difficulty curve feels a bit flat at the start. It might be worth pulling a few of the page-2 techniques forward into the levels of page-1.
Thanks for making this — I had a genuinely great time with it. Well done!
Thanks for the kind words! Glad you had fun with the game!
I did the level design for level 15, and I believe you caught a flaw in that design. In previous iterations of the game, the limited-use arrows didn't count down if a robot passed over them that was already heading in the direction the robot was heading. So, it only counted down if the arrow actually turned the robot.
I thought that was inconsistent, so I made the recommendation that the limited-use arrows countdown whenever a robot passes over them, regardless of whether the robot was actually turned.
Unfortunately, I didn't realize that the solution for that puzzle was benefiting from the previous version of how the arrows functioned, and so that solution no longer worked.
I'll make an update for that puzzle, and we'll update the game once voting is over.
So, well done on completing the game, even my broken puzzle!
Thanks again for the feedback, and we're glad you enjoyed the game!
Fun little puzzle game good stuff!
I really enjoyed your puzzle game, in a way it reminds me the good old Lemmings game 😊
Well done!
Very Chu Chu Rocket! I love the animation for the little toys, and there’s something very satisfying about watching them weave through each other. Can I buy one of these little guys?
cute programming game. I enjoyed it. great artwork and sound design as well! 40 robots for the first levels feels a bit much, but the ping ping ping sounds on fast-forward make it kind of enjoyable to watch it play out.
Very very fun!!! I loved the puzzles and I couldn't even make it through to the end. This is a wonderful project!
Very nice concept! I didn't manage to get to the end but there's lots of cool mechanics. I didn't manage to get until the end, but it's very satisfying to end some levels with extra panels showing that we nailed it! Definitely coming back on this one later 😄
Cool game!
Could have used more sound effects, but otherwise this is a very nice and well-made little puzzle game!
