I love the meta commentary throughout the game with the rogue AI. I think the idea is unique and a good fit for the theme. My only wish would be that, since it's mostly a point-and-click game, there were more secret interactions throughout each level. An achievement system could be really fun for a game like this.
Yup, this is really good and fun. If there's one nitpick I have it's that I wish there were more background music in the game but it doesn't detract much from the game itself. Amazing job on the game !
Thanks a lot for your return ! Yeah we thought about it too for the music. But also we wanted to a shepard tone (a tone that rises again and again forever), but I didn’t manage to make a music with a shepard tone with cool synth (we need a pure tone for a shepard tone) :(. So I made a shepard rythm (when we have the feeling tht thr rythm rises forever) with a single synth, and it’s hard to make the bars fit nicely on top of each other, so we kept it sober. And it makes a minimal atmosphere at the beginning of the game. With a musician in the group we could have make better :(
just incredible! that was super fun, one of the coolest games in the jam, i really love the ideas and these mini-games, thanks for making this, maybe you should expand it after the jam because the idea is just too good! one of the few cases where i also wanna give a top rating for narrative too!
