what i just read.

Thats great. bold, daring, demureless like a crazy monkey or a bunch of naturist.

I love it.

This has been one of the most unique modules I’ve read in the jam so far! Makes me want to try out Violence. The blurb describing the adventure feels on-point and sells it really well. Love the chaotic ramping up of events!

Thank you!!

Astounding stuff here that is the result of some absolutely WILD choices lol. I think you pulled it off! Reminded me of like a grittier Stealing Harvard, or Inherent Vice, where the surreal elements crash into the criminal in a gory splatter. The map being the work of a former employee was a nice touch as well. Very fun!

Thanks a ton CW!!

a naturist’s naturalist heist! excellent score

The dungeon map rocks, and monkeynapping is a new adventure premise to me. The room descriptions carry the theme. The timeline is great; unhinged, but great. I felt like I was figuring out NPCs through osmosis, especially when reading the timeline of events, so another bit of text with NPC info seems like a good idea. Great Violence adventure overall, and you nailed the title.

Thank you!!

I love the map "drawn by an npc". Very clever.  The idea of stealing a monkey is just bananas.  Good job!

Definitely gonna check out Violence after this one! The mission is a banger! I love how the curse pops out at the climax, and here I am reading it and pondering the aspect of the title. Also hope the monkey is safe amidst the curse and the bloodshed!

A gorgeous adventure, although the mention of the curse on the timeline threw me -- was it mentioned previously, or is it from the Violence rules? This feels like a climactic scene from a Tarantino movie, which seems appropriate.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for reading! The curse is meant to come as a surprise twist in that moment :)

I don’t know anything about the system you’re playing, but the module is great! the nude-rule is a good one. I see players spending those $10K only to leave the super-elaborate, foldable, extrastrong monkey-cage in the lockers :-D

Could’ve used a seperate NPC-list, though. (They will all be shot anyway, won’t they?)

We always need more scenarios for Violence! Cool cover and perfect map! Great job!

Great colour and font choice, adventure is easy to read through and I like the added symbols for the CCTV that is being watched in the managers office. Things certainly get going as the time heads into midnight on the events list! Nice Work! 🐒

While it might not be the most Appendix N submission to the jam, it may well be my favourite. It's really well done and from such a tricky title too. I shall run it.

Developer(+1)

That is high praise, thank you!!

Wow, this is not what I expected, but it looks like a lot of violent fun. Thanks also for introducing me to the Violence system, it fits perfectly for a scenario like this.

I love the hand-scrawled dungeon map and icons in the room keys. This is great!

So creative, so punchy and new. What a module!

Very cool! Nicely put together and very playable.

"A scenario for Violence" is a great tagline - I was not aware of that system, the title certainly does not play around. Also love the colours you chose for the cover!
