Nice, zoomed out, creative adventure.
Poetic, but not less usable because of it. Ok, is not one of the most usable entries, but its fault is not in its poetry. This could extend in a masterpiece. As it is, is a good (a very good indeed) plan for a masterpiece, which is no small thing but is not and adventure.
One of the best writing style of alla the jam.
Thank you for the kind words!
I very much intended this to be a Pointcrawl adventure, albeit an open-ended one. So I would be interested to hear more on what you mean by not an adventure?
Anything you’d like to see more of in the expanded edition?
1) a what's going on
2) random events and encounters
3) longer description, i need to get each faction better
More flesh to bite, as it were
Interesting, well written module. I think it's a great idea to link to oher modules! very unique.
Bewildering and/but lovely. A "what's going on" section might be good for orientation although I do quite like the disorientation. "See the thrilling conclusion" made me laugh but I do really want to see "Descent into Destruction" now! Love pretty much everything that is in here, but especially Naela of course.
Yeah, I’m definitely planning for an intro for the expanded version. I was trying to really lean into the false expectation that a gm read the first 10 chapters. I’d almost love to do a joint project or jam to hear others ideas on filling the missing modules.
Love how you put links to other submission, also props for the hand-drawn map, love it.
Cool entry with a lot of stuff going on! Props for the hand drawn map and the links to other submissions of this jam is a great idea!
This made me laugh out loud a few times. Some really clever, interesting ideas here, although I found it pretty dense, too. (Had to chew my food.) Nonetheless, I think your premise and plot is really engaging—I think it deserves a bit more breathing room!
Very cool setting, and I love a hand-drawn map! Also, and this is a small thing, it’s really nice to see somebody leveraging the fact that this is a PDF and actually having clickable links.
Overall a cool world to explore and a great entry, good work!
This was fun to read. "Woke up dead" really got me.
That's a very creative way to use the links! When I first saw the link I was like "Oh yeah that's really smart to link to outside data/table/etc" AND THEN it links to completely creative (with some meme) unexpected destination. Kudos to you! I had fun reading this and it inspires me a lot! I also love the map and the places you've drawn and described!
I like the ring and the Naela. This seems like it could be expanded. There is a lot here. Good job!
Fascinating information presentation here with the use of links. Fun concepts. I know it's due to the limited space, but I felt a little lost at first and I think an intro would have helped. That said, I liked it, though the fate of the poor elephant seal was a bummer!
Thanks for the feedback! I really went back and forth between putting the location information before the recent developments bits. Ultimately, I agree it’s missing a strong “what’s going on here” blurb.
Very smart to reference as many external (re)sources as you do, it condenses a quite substantial work into just a few pages. It makes it a little harder to pick up than the page count would suggest, but those willing to do so have a very deep adventure laid out for them.
This looks very interesting and I dog, that you give credit to your sources of Inspiration. Into the rabbit hole!
