Strong vibes of "corrupted old england" maybe.

The art, map, and layout (tree branch headings, brilliant!) are great. The Knight is super intimidating and very evocatively characterized. I was wondering why the alien was still trapped, but it makes sense given the forest's magical properties. This makes me want to read His Majesty the Worm. Good work!
The art is great. I love the map and the npcs that comes with the adventure. I would love to play this one when I get a chance. nice addition to the honor system and different endings like a choose your own adventure flavor.
The map and room descriptions layout is fun, I like that they match sides like that and it's a creative use of space to work around the limit. The other art is also really good, both the cover (of course) and the little character heads. The different endings and Honor system are really cool additions. The poems at the end are very potent, and I like the touch of sci-fi with Mal'sain. Definitely looks accessible to run as someone familiar with HMtW, lays out everything I would need. Really nice job! I think you capture the theme of your title extremely well!
A well-rounded, solid adventure with thoughtful, comprehensive construction that covers all the bases. I like how the map uses space efficiently. Good art and prose. Feels like a classic Appx N adventure.
Really thematic, definitely gets me keen to play HMtW! I love the writing, doom and honour and the nettle knight, really leans into the Arthurian and chivalric romance vibe, I could easily slot this into Mythic Bastionland or Pendragon too. The presentation is fun as well, the tables and text is all clear and a good size,If slightly compressed (but understandable due to the Jam constraints).
Vertical spacing between paragraphs feels slightly tight, with key number 6 standing out weirdly (but it is also the easiest to parse for me, but I might not be the best judge ;) ) I think you could refine the keys to be less verbose and earn back some breathing room.
The numbers on the map would benefit from being a different colour to stand out from the black of the map itself.
Overall great though, I really like this one!
Thanks for the detailed review! I do know the formatting got pretty funky on the map page, especially in regards to paragraph spacing, which I sacrificed to allow the text to remain legibly sized, but it's definitely something I intend to redo in the expanded edition I am planning later.
You do bring up a great point in terms of map color! I think making the numbers green or something would help them stand out so I'll definitely do that. Most of my art experience is in black and white so I often forget that color can be a useful tool for clarity.
Really nice! I am running a session zero for HMtW tonight and might use this as the very first dungeon.
Honor is a neat mechanic to add, and reminds me of Glory in Mythic Bastionland and watching the Green Knight movie. The art is fantastic, and really helps evoke the setting of the adventure. Including an alien was a fantastic touch!
This was a delight to read. I enjoyed the poetry, and the Arthurian themes come through really strongly. (Berti and Laks meatgrinder entries were particularly evocative.)
I think the Doomed and Honor system are creative and make this dungeon uniquely fun for a One-Shot.
I think you might be missing a word at the end of room 6, regarding what sword can fit into the scabbard.
Great game!
This makes me want to finally grab HMtW!!
Very stylish dark chivalric tale. I really appreciate the honor mechanics.
This might be the most attractive entry I've seen so far. Nice work.
