slimey weird dungeon, with a loto of high pitch encounter. I do like this with a passion. Very consciuos structure

Another weird, fun, Luke dungeon! Love the idea of this interdimensional slug hoovering up all the treasure everywhere all at once, such that PCs can harvest thousands of gold coins at a time in its belly. Love all the strange NPCs within, definitely a highlight when compared to how often you made me read the word “sphincter” in this module lol. Great work as always!

This entry makes some concessions in visual design, but is otherwise a typical example of Cats Have No Lord’s phenomenal adventure design.

I love how modular this adventure is, literally squeezing an expansive adventuring locale into a single in room in any dungeon! This one is going into the tuck pocket in my GM’s binder, because I just know there will come that one perfect moment to bust it out for my players.

“Concessions in visual design” is a very kind way to put it! I threw out any really attempt at it once I realized how little space I had for everything I’d written. But I think I might do an expanded version and give it more space to breath later.

thanks for the kind words arch-nemesis

It’s completely crazy how small of a space two pages is. I really struggled with my entry to figure out a concept that could deliver on the title I had been assigned within the space constraints.

This is horrible: I love it

Love it. It's weird in the best sense. I'll keep that one in my folder for when my players get bored in a dungeon.

Sure. That’s the one I chose to read over breakfast. And odd one, for sure. I like how it is played like a more or less normal dungeon, NPCs and all. The fact that the hooks are all specific and relevant is a bonus point.

I would ditch the insta-death portal, though.

I love entries like this that take the title in a different direction to what was probably the "intended" interpretation, but execute it well enough that it feels like the title was made bespoke for this particular module. Are we the crypt crawlers, exploring the crypts of Mictlan? Of course not! We are EXPLORING inside the crypt crawlers, who work for Mictlan. Of course!

The descriptions are really well done - the NPCs in particular are presented with slightly more prose than the rooms, but it works - nothing is wasted, everything is very readable. The actual dungeon layout is also very good. You had me at "left anus" and "right anus", which I'm sure is limacologically accurate anatomy, but they're also really well placed dungeon exits (and, perhaps, entrances...) relative to the rest of the layout.

Also that's a really really nice green.

Such a fun and unique dungeon crawl with lots of great hooks and weird goodness. It reminds me of the leviathan level in DMC3 or the silliness of Bower's Inside Story! Great Work!

This is so creative and fun the concept alone is already great, but then reading it has so many little touches that make it even better.

What I loved

  • The idea of entering a creature means this can appear anywhere and function as a one shot or a side adventure or a main adventure. Also imagine a slug inside a slug.
  • The details like the Goblin with the boots, Elgar living inside a cosy hut, it being able to control the slug elevates this further.
  • A lot of content for a small package
  • Adorable sketches, cutest slug and two anuses!

What I think could be improved

  • Although some key elements are bold, some like the hook worms are not, so I lost it when i was scanning
  • I would have loved a bit more description on the goblin, since Alara and Elgar get so much
  • A few line breaks could have made us a bit easier on the eyes. I know it's though with the limited space though
  • Even though it's a lot of content, I wonder if slightly fewer rooms could help with a bit more space to flesh out some of the existing rooms

With that said I thought it was great and definitely going to use it in future! 🐌

When a module opens with a massive and nearly indestructible monster, you know you are going to be in for a good time! I like the way this one in particular handled crawling inside a monster's guys!

Left Anus...its where you are and what you are doing while there! Boom Shakalaka!!!

Great Jorb!

I am a simple person: I see interdimensional slugs, and I click. Loved this one.
