Nice illustrated map and border! This is quite a silly romp. Since things like Monty Python and the Holy Grail and Piers Anthony probably rightly belong in Appendix N, I think the tone is fitting.

This is great :-)

This is such a funny response to the title provided. Love how hard you've gone on the horse stuff. Agree with commenter below that visual distinction of hidden paths vs non-hidden on the map would be useful. Reading, I was expecting more explicit guidance on how players might be able to infiltrate and/or win the race, but actually I think there's enough flexibility here to expect that players will come up with something more creative and probably weirder than if it were spelled out as a solution.

The title image art is amazing so wish that'd found a corner of the module itself, but you do have a lot to fit in!

Adorable in all the best horse ways. A complete package of charming map, good humor, and unique characters.

The fact this commits completely to the horse theme it very endearing. The ways to fetch the McGuffin are clearly laid out, the NPCs are fitting and colorful. I like this zine.

The art and cartography rule, and this was the first adventure I've read for this jam that has me laughing out loud in a coffee shop, so big plus for that

This adventure is tons of fun!! Light spoilers ahead: the trap in area 4 is possibly one of my favorite traps ever; I love how it's so telegraphed, and so immediately deadly, but also softens the insta-kill a bit by making your character's death both hilarious and rad. I think that's something a table would talk about for years

It shows that you had fun making this, and that joy really shines through in this work

Area 4 is absolutely great. Just for that it should be run with some very daring PCs (and one very stupid NPC follower ;))

I love the map, and especially the borders. It’s a wonderful vibe of a jolly horse-filled fairytale.

The language is really good. A wonderful mix of dumb puns (in a very good way) and fantastical details is spread throughout; eg. the albino centaur named Cloud, and the Neighwoods – the home of the centaurs – it’s just dumb fun and I love it.

The adventure is a lighthearted jog through the woods filled with horse-themed shenanigans. It’s fun, it’s jolly, and then all of sudden it’s deadly. I like that. I especially like the Horse-Eye, and it’s powers surrounding death; very cool!

A few notes:
I would have loved to see a mechanic for the race, if the PCs were to join it. I know this is probably a page-restraint ‘issue’, but I would have loved to see it still – I just think the race is such a fun thing for the PCs, that at least my players would do anything in their power to join that race.

A little bit more of underlining, bolding, or other forms of making certain things stand out, is very welcome. Eg; underlining the two individual guests in the Hay Rollers Inn, would make it a little bit easier for the GM.

I would have liked for the Secret Paths to be easily distinct from the regular paths. A dotted line or similar would do just fine.

Overall a really fun horse-filled point-crawl adventure of odd horse-themed shenanigans, and centaurs with serious problems (drinking, body dysmorphia etc.).

I would love to throw this at my players as a one-shot!

The cover feels a lot like it is advertising a Renaissance fair to me. Same with the map and I mean this as a compliment of the highest order. Just an absolute delight.

Speaking of absolute delights, I get the impression that you had a fantastic time writing this. Every section, set piece, person and object here is exuberant.  Some of the consequences are harsh but I really like that. If I were to run this at some point I might put in an NPC who is there explicitly to fall victim to one of these things, an early one most likely. Just to let the players know they shouldn't horse around too much.

Genuinely a wonderful read and I look forward to seeing what else you come up with in the future!  I'm looking forward to checking out your back catalogue.

Really unique atmosphere without sacrificng playability. I like it! Great art as well.

Great subversion of the title. I love the atmosphere here -- playful but still deadly. The traps are the best I've seen in the entries. Thank you!
