I loved the feeling of being on this planet and then your like oh a jetpack, and then your flying around and its like, oh i can go to the sun, or the spiky rock ball. Fun!

Thanks a lot for playing aforestsociety! I'm glad you had fun on the game! :D

The planet gravities made jumping from one planet to another intuitive and a lot of fun. Definitely scratched an itch when I realized I could just propel myself at another planet or even the star. Would love to see if you continue developing this or move onto another project! Great job!

Thanks for playing MrTech, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I don't think I'll continue this project, but I might do a few bug fixes once the jam ends. Thanks for the kind words too! <3

Thank you so much for playing and for the kind words TrueNoobie! Your comment really is heartwarming ❤️

Hi, the physics are fun and I don't know how you managed to do all these graphics within 4 days :o

I like the idea and the story somehow made me think of DragonBall's base story (the old manga version) even if the atmosphere does make me think of Outer Wilds !

Thank you so much for playing SystemK! For the graphics I used a lot of models that I found online as I don't really have experience with 3d modeling yet (but I'll learn!). I gotta admit I didn't watch DragonBall so I can't tell lmao. The story was actually made kind of in a rush at the end as I spent way too much time on making the planets / physics.

Glad you liked it anyways!

Yeah I bet you spend time on the planets, they look and feel great !

Keep learning, I think you already have pretty good skills :)

the hitboxes are a bit weird on the spiky planet but i enjoyed this game a lot!

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing chipsi! Yeah Lacrist was the last planet I made and I really didn't have much time so it's a bit buggy. Sorry about that, I'm glad you still had fun!

I got all the gems! Very beautiful and I'm amazed how you did all this in a short time. I think the game would've needed some more ambience, but still great work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for playing and for your kind words ElkePit!  Yeah the sfx and music definitely lack, I kept them for the end but didn't get enough time to really polish them. I originally wanted to really have a different atmosphere on each planet with some ambience sounds but had to dump the idea sadly :(

I’ve only heard of Outer Wilds, but I basically know what it’s about. This game really captured that same feeling! Creating such a unique 3D game in such a short amount of time is truly impressive and deserves a lot of respect.

Thanks a lot for playing! You have no idea how much that means to me... thank you so much for the kind words <3

Pretty fun, can definitely see the outer wilds inspiration!

Developer

Thanks for playing WizardDude! Glad you enjoyed it :D

I really like the concept and kinda fun flying around the planets and I admire your bravery taking on the physics of something like this, I will say I got stuck a lot but still enjoyable. THE SUN IS A LIE :O

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot for playing Razer! Yeah the physics definitely were a challenge and I might have lost some hair in the process, but I still enjoyed making it :D

Sorry if you got stuck a lot, I wish I had more time to polish and fix that 😔

And yeah THE SUN IS A LIE!!!

Submitted(+1)

It's okayyy, in all honesty you learn more from trying new challenging things than staying where it's easy so keep that up and I was rushing to get mine done, I woulda like to remake the first boss of mine so I get that.

Submitted(+1)

I am glad I could survive the sun this time lol. I guess you had fun making planetary scale physics here

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks a lot for playing Kertwaii! Well yeah I definitely had a lot of fun (mixed with pain) making this! I don't know if you've finished the game but are you sure you survived? 🥲

Submitted(+1)

It's a joke about being able to just fly through the sun if you don't touch the power things xd

The game isn't loading for me, so im not giving it a rating D: (when i opened your page my ram was filled with 2gb (which is not good))

Developer

Oh wow that's weird. I've tested it on my very low spec laptop and it was running fine. It takes a bit of time to load up though, maybe the web export has something to do with it. Sorry about that!

Submitted

depends, does your game use particles or anything that needs to be done by the gpu? because web versions can't acces the gpu and leave everything to the cpu (which is bad) could be that the web build is indeed ruining the performance.

Developer

Ah maybe that explains it then... I used a few GPUParticles indeed. Just got in touch with the jam host, I should be able to post builds for windows, linux and mac very soon!

Submitted(+1)

nice

Developer

Windows and Linux builds are now available (sorry if you are on Mac, didn't have the export template and my internet connection really sucks) if you wanna give it a go. It should hopefully work!
