This was cute!
A good little adventure. Even though there were just walk and talk stuffs, but I had a good experience, interested to see more if there will be.
thanks for playing, i'm glad you enjoyed my little dream :]
DUDE I LOOOOOOVED !!!
I'm an undertale hyper fan. I loved the short experience. I'd definitely play the finished game. I'd also love to collab if you would be down maybe one day haha. I really love your artstyle.
Team unfinished game for the jam lol but honestly I love this kind of game you made, and I think it has a huge potential!
Aawh thank you so much i'm so glad you liked itt!! Undertale is one of the games that inspired me to get into gamedev in the first place, i'm glad you saw that in my game! I loved your game idea and i'd love to see it finished one day too! A collab could be nice one day)
Team unfinished game for the jam :]
The art in the room is super good, so keep it :) Maybe even replicate that style for the top down view will fit. I think the music is well composed as well. I am pretty sure this game has a lot of potential based on the lore.
Thank you for playing! I'm glad you liekd the music, it was my first time making soundtrack for a game :]
This is such a charming game! I loved the art and you got so much in there in such a small space (of course the spider was my favourite, definitely the most important character) :)
Thank you so much for playing, i'm glad you liked it! The spider will definetly be important later :]
Such a charming little game that felt very meta. You managed to fit a lot of character into such a compact and nice experience. The fact that it was about making the game itself was very cool and I think reflective of how a lot of us probably feel in game jams. It's funny that a game about not being able to figure out what game to make turned into one of the more memorable ones of this jam, and I think it's very on theme in an unexpected way. I do think it could have had a little bit more to the gameplay, but perhaps that was intentional to make it even more of a meta experience, as that might have detracted from its feeling. I loved the art, especially in the intro scene in the bedroom. Really cool style there. Overall, you managed to make a pretty cute game about not being sure what game to make. Well done! Thanks for making and sharing it :)
Thank you so much for playing, and for your fun little analysis! Honestly, i was hoping to add more gameplay and areas and characters, but for a few reasons i wasn't able to work on it for the majority of the game jam and it ended up unfinished, but from your perspectinve it seems like that gave it even more character, heh! I'm glad you enjoyed it :]
So much charm in such a small package, I was smiling the whole way through the dream sequence :) I got serious Earthbound vibes; all of the characters were well-written and funny in an absurdist kind of way that I really enjoyed. There's not much here yet in terms of gameplay, but what you have already was really enjoyable and charming. The art was great, too; I enjoyed the change of style when moving into the dream. Nice work! :)
Thank you so much for playing, im glad you liked it! :]
Wonderful entry, with a very cozy theme and a cool art style shift in the middle. I like how much character you managed to add into the little item descriptions (38 chocolates for the lava lamp was particularly colorful!)
I ran into the same bug that the others did (which happens when you go south twice after meeting the spider). Beyond that, I really liked the vibe this game invoked, although I wish there were more engaging gameplay mechanics! Good job!!!
Im so glad you liked it and thank you so much for your feedback! :]
What a wonderful meta game! I was surprised at first when I read the jam and was at first "are they just talking about the jam?" but then the player came in and it was soo cool how you made it like a 4th wall break! The art in the room was amazing and I loved the little tidbits about the character (you I assume?). And the little dream scape was cute! The moth and the Holy Lamps (praise!) and the NPC who just roasted me! SO good!
Thanks for playing, i'm so glad you liked it! :]
Excellent entry for the gamejam! The art, the music and the story made for a very cohesive experience! I also can relate about ideas not being perfect, the time that is never enough or getting stuck, but at the end of the day we just have to move on and push through! I wouldn't worry about the length or the missing dreams, I'm just glad you submitted it and that I played it! 5* on all categories! Well done!
thank you so much, i'm glad you enjoyed it! :D
Hi! I got the same "bug"as the user sovium, unfortunately. I like the music in there, I was sleepy but uplifting! I genuinely like the art change, reminded me of inscryption, they did that welll, and you did too. Especially for a game built in 10 days
Thanks for playing! I'm working on finding that bug. Funny that you mention Inscryption, as it's one of my favorite games ever and it inspires me a lot, that is the highest compliment to me!
Hey Rat in a hat, this feels like it could have some potential, I enjoyed the art style in the beginning a lot and the colors you chose. I was wandering in the forest and when i went to an area i had a scene transition and got stuck, not sure if that's supposed to happen. I liked the vibe in this game, nice job!
Hi i'm glad you liked it! Could you specify which area was it, so that i can know where to look inthe code to try and find the error? I didn't come across anything like that when i was testing, and i couldn't get anyone to playtest because of the time, so i'm aware that there might be some issues that i couldn't find myself.
I feel like i just kept going towards bottom right direction and ran into this issue.
okay, i'll look into it, i think i might have an idea where it happens. Thanks for finding it
Flowery appeared in his dream lmao. Cool game!
it's my jarona ;)
Yooo, there is so much potential in this game... The art is very cute. The developer remains confused about what art style he should be making and ended up making 2 art styles ๐๐. I like the exploration, really. I wish there were more decisions to be made, but well, I can't ask anything more from an unfinished game; I kinda like the spider, where you are exploring and a spider out of no where says that he is not important, I think if you expand the game in the future, the spider also should have more content about himself in the game, donno why but I kinda like him ๐
Apart from jokes... I really loved the game, the music, and the conversations. I wish the game had more story and consequences... But yeah, whatever you did manage to create, they were really good.... CHEERS UP for your Journey ahead !! ๐
And I guess there a bug, where you meet the spider and go down, the game remains blank after the scene transition, so I played again from the start.
Thank you for your feedback, i'm glad you liked it! :] There were supposed to be even more artstyle changes, but of course i didn't have much time to do that this jam
he's supposed to be important ๐ญ he's the wisest in the forest ๐ญ but he's just a little spider ๐ญ ๐ญ ๐ญ ๐ญ ๐ญ
very cute!!! i'm very fond of stories with this vibe, it kinda reminds of The Little Prince or The Phantom Tollbooth. obviously i can't fully judge something so unfinished, but i have a feeling that i'd like the full thing.
i'm also a big fan of the contrasting visual/gameplay styles between real life and the dream world. i can imagine how this could've grown into a pretty interesting metacommentary on the creative process, were it more fleshed out.
Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked my little dream. The change in the visuals was supposed to be the main thing, where each dream is in a different style, but it's obvious now that that was too ambitious for the jams limited time :]
