The grapple mechanics is implemented very well and the visuals are pleasing. I tried playing with gamepad, but fond it too difficult (skill issue on my side), but playing with keyboard and mouse worked great! :D
great job! i loved that you could build up so much momentum. everything felt speedy and fun.
I'm happy you enjoyed, thanks for playing!
I had to find my old, dusty mouse for this =)
Interesting to see what you did with the grapple mechanic. I really love that I can do the full loop with enough momentum in your game. I tried to make this possible in my entry, but didn't succeed, unfortunately.
I also like the dynamic between rolling and swinging. What about making a larger level, where you could really gain speed first and then lift of with the grapple hook?
Enjoyed playing your game a lot!
Thanks for playing! There was a lot of artificial forces I had to tweak with in the grappling to make the swinging able to loop. I do agree that a larger level with a big lift off would be really cool! When I was designing levels I was conflicted with both trying to keep things readable for the screen rez, but also allowing for fast movement. If I were to make it again I think I would try to shrink everything to allow for more camera space.
This is a lot of fun and the grapple/swinging physics are really well implemented. It's so satisfying when you're launching yourself through the level and swinging through tiny gaps and avoiding spikes with precision. Easy to pick up and play but tough to master!
Great entry!
Thanks for playing! I probably ended up spending most of my time working on/tweaking the physics so I'm glad you enjoyed!
I love a good grapple game! The controls felt wonderful, and I appreciate the added controller support! Job well done!
I'm glad you liked it! I was very happy to find out that adding controller support was much easier than I initially thought.

This was very fun! The grapple worked well and the level design was easy to read. I definitely got a bug that launched me through the level and I couldn't move anymore. I think it was when I hit the spikes, it launched me into the solid earth. But very fun and loved the pixel art! The menu and UI elements all fit really well on the screen and the symbols are big and readable. Nicely done!

Thanks for playing and the feedback! I seemed to have forgotten to fix a bug that had to do with respawning while grappled, hopefully I can fix that soon!
The swinging and rolling physics works really well.
It’s hard to play on a laptop with a trackpad, so I didn’t get very far.
Thanks for playing! I could see that being difficult lol
Awesome! The swing and physics were great! Great work!
Thanks for playing, happy you liked it!
Awesome! It feels great to swing around! The grappling hook is implemented perfectly! The artwork is wonderful, and I'm glad you stuck with the hard 64x64 restriction!
Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you liked it!
No problem!
