In the game, you must unpack gifts layer by layer.
With different layers having different and creative ways of removing them.
The music also plays in layers: after each level, a new instrument gets added.

so this is one of my favourite games so far. Its really charming and the gameplay loop can be quite satisfying. My only note is that the keybord controls feel a bit random, and unintuitive which makes the game somewwhat annoying
Great game! It definitely made me struggle after the codes were introduced, but it was very fun. Loved the artwork and sounds!
Absolutely great game! It's really impressive that you got this project wrapped up in the time of the jam. I struggled at first, especially with the steel boxes. But once I figured things out I was having a blast. I was really dialed in on the code-locked boxes, very fun. I gave endless mode a shot after finishing all the levels, and got 8239 before the game put me in a box. 10/10

This is honestly one of the best games I've seen so far! Loved the ramping difficulty, and the visuals were awesome. Plus all the juice and particle effects really made this such a blast!

Really nice game!! it's fun, engaging and pretty difficult. I sort of wished the wasd keys could function as the arrows because taking my hands off the keyboard to use the mouse felt a bit clunky, but maybe that's part of the challenge :P well done with the music too!
love the premise, feels like a warioware boss minigame, you found controls that are so tough yet very fun to combo :D i also really like that you included an endless mode as well
i just wish i could see the gifts i put so much effort into opening hahaha

Great interpretation of the theme! This game's UI is very smooth and clean and I really like the use of sound effects. The endless mode is a nice inclusion. I struggled with the controls but being able to replay levels helped me adjust. Good job :)

The concept is unique and the realisation is very good, I especially like the sound effects! I wish I could change the controls, this layout was a bit uncomfortable, but I got the hang of it eventualy!
I didn’t know I needed to open presents with TNT, but now I do. Really fun.

cute graphics, creative game but next year maybe just give them a gift card lol.
This was fun! Even in full screen mode, the graphics were cut off for me but I was still able to play. I thought it was a lot of fun, very cute, and very on theme. I wish it was a little more easily playable with two hand positions instead of having to move around to the mouse/different parts of the keyboard, but I was also playing on a laptop without a mouse so I'm sure that made it more tricky.

What is the aspect ratio of your screen? Maybe I could fix the problem in a future update.
Lovely! so fun! I would have loved the endless mode I’m gonna check this in the future to see if it’s implemented I really like the mechanics! the gameplay feels smooth and the fast pace but dont mistake is very fun. I personally thought the addition of the mouse was too annoying but personal opinion. Goodjob!
Endless mode is acually in the game! It unlocks after Level 4. And thank you for your feedback!
That was so much fun!! I loved all the layers in this one!
I don't want to spoil anything for new players, but when I had to press two keys at once, I think I was getting strikes because I didn't hold them long enough. But once I held them a little longer, I was able to get through all the levels.
