In the subset of non-adventure content, this is one of the most refreshing submissions. Cool use of art too. Good job!

Oh thank you so much! I really appreciate that

It’s always refreshing to come across something other than an adventure, and this supplement has a ton of cool items and other things that come in handy for adventures featuring dragons (who doesn’t love a dragon?). Visually, it looks great, especially the cover, though I think the section titles are too cramped; they could use a little more breathing room. Very useful.

Very nice art & layout, alongside a plethora of usable material. I especially enjoyed the loot table, as well as the Dragons’ breath abilities- making them cost armor, as well as inflicting greater damage against the more heavily armored is very slick design. Great work!

Okay, easy there! We know: you like to kill PCs. Nobody’s judging. We all do. But hear me out!

Please think about escalating the Draon Sickness Table. Make it a d6 at 500gp, a d8 at 1,000gp and a d10 from 1,500gp. I discovered the beauty of those clocks and escalations in this jam. If I’m unable to make myself clear, please have a look at the last page of “Kaulu’s Puzzle Box”. I think this would pace the Sickness more gradually, not potentially killing the character on the first roll.

This is a great supplement, playing of the theme, dragons and the subversion of normal player behavior perfectly. I like it a lot.

Oh this is a great idea. I am used to working in the framework of Mothership rules which generally stick to d10s, d20s, and d100s, but I am a big fan of different die sizes for different purposes. I love this, definitely incorporating it if/when I get around to doing a version two. Thank you for the suggestion and feedback!

We want some of them to survive, don’t we? :-D

I, like so many others, was initially very taken with the art. But I zoomed in a bit and the seams started to show a bit. Time crunch and public domain art, I get it. But those extra steps really take it from good to great.  Still a very fun adventure, any excuse to loot a dragon and pay the consequences.

Great art choices and an overall cool vibe. If anyone so much as mentioned a dragon in my Cairn game I’d be reaching for this.

What a cool mechanic, love the idea of Dragon Cursed Loot and really appreciate how its clearly set out and the guidance at the start on how to use it. The Ascend sickness level is especially cool, I will be trying to use this at my table at some point! Awesome module! 🐉

The most visually on theme submission I’ve seen so far and can’t imagine it being topped. Extremely useful because dragon madness rules, I think I could actually handle it personally but would love to have this unleashed on some of my players.

Love dragon sickness as a narrative trope, so it's awesome to find great RPG tools for it! Excellently designed mechanics and visuals in here.

Developer

Thank you! It was a great prompt, I wrote way more than I was able to fit and have 90% of a dungeon made to go with it so I am glad the tool kit works as a stand alone thing

I loved the commitment to the vintage book aesthetic and the incorporation of it into the design!  Great use of the theme and title. The back cover was perfect, it really took me back.

The drawings are awesome,  you did an exceptional job selecting them. Everything works together.

You have "Obsesse" on the dragon sickness table, but I think it should be "Obsessed"?

Developer

Thank you so much! I appreciate the praise, choosing pieces was a ton of fun and I discovered so many more that I ended up not using. The Temptation of Saint Anthony by Jacques Callot is particularly amazing and I only used a small piece of it, highly recommend checking out the full version.
And good catch! It is mean to be "Obsess" to match the verbs in the other entries so I will need to get rid of that "e" at some point

Really fun stuff; fiction & mechanics are both laser-focused around the core theme in ways that promise to be juicy and interesting at the table.

Thank you! I love a dragon so it was cool to fleshout some potential lore around them.

Ah, i think I saw this on reddit yesterday :D You got a cool title and worked beautifully with that! Really great layout, as well.

Developer

Thank you! I was so excited when I got my title, I wasn't sure I was going to have time in July but having such a great prompt was quiet motivating. Felt like striking gold for real (I am sorry, it was right there, couldn't resist)

Love the dragon sickness table, sticking coins in yourself to give you armour but lose STR is inspired and gnarly!

Thank you so much!

Visionary stuff, great interpretation of the prompt. Love the use of art also.

That is very kind, thank you so much!
