Themes
Gotta Go Fast: The difficulty progression in the game is based on time played, not levels passed, so if you go through the levels faster the game becomes easier.
Tooling
I've used godot, aseprite and audacity, I've used them before a few times.

difficult but cool
A real nice puzzle and the visual juice is on-point. Two tragic faults, though, and they should be pretty easy to fix: (1) You’re reading gamepads for the dpads but the jump button isn’t mapped, and (2) sound effects are way too loud relative to the music, especially that first “LINELINE!”.
I loved it as much as I hated it
Nice puzzle game with that skipping rope like concept. The sound effect feels pretty loud to me, but was fun though.
Loved this. It's very cool that we can try fast again and again! The only thing is the sound-jump-scares in the first round.... Had tons of fun thou! I'll save it for later plays!
Nice minimalistic puzzle game. A bit too challenging for me because I think too slow, but still fun. :)
The first sound (when you start a run) is a bit too loud, but other sounds work very well!
I really enjoy minimalist games like this. Colors are nice and having generated levels keeps it interesting. Probably my only feedback is that the startup SFX is far too loud. Really well done!
I was surprised at how long I wound up playing this. I also didn't have the context of having played either of the games it was based off of, but I could still understand it immediately which I guess is a good thing. It's funny how I stopped approaching the levels intelligently as soon as there was any kind of time pressure...
Love that simple but very clean presentation ! great feel to it too
Simple and effective—a perfect fit for the resolution constraint! It took me a few tries to get the jump timing down (or maybe my skills are just rusty! :P), but it feels very rewarding once you get the hang of it. Nice job!
Super impressive little game! It was a pleasant surprise when I realized the levels were randomly generated. The game is instantly understandable and very engaging. Purely gameplay wise, I think this games my favorite of the jam so far. Great work!
Tough but fun! The movement feels really snappy and the colors are gorgeous.
Beautifully minimal and very approachable. Graphics are clear and easy to read. It feels slightly off that the goal highlight is so large, makes it slightly unclear what tile im supposed to go to, but that's just nit picking. Great work!
Everything about this is minimalist in a pleasant way. Especially the art.
Simple mechanics, but a great challenge. Like this quite a lot =)
Great use of the low resolution and the graphics fit very well. Love the little details in the animation.
What about tuning the volume of the first SFX a bit (better a lot) down? It scared me to death the first time =D
Great game jam entry you have here!
lol I'm sorry the bootup sound scared gave you a scare, thanks for the feedback and the kind words!
I was not good at the jump, but I had fun :) gg!
