Edit: Hab mir deine Spiele angeschaut und verstehe die Referenz jetzt glaube ich :D Bin mir noch nicht ganz sicher wer genau ihr seid, vermutlich war ich ein paar Semester vor euch, aber Grüße an die HSK Gang gehen raus und tolles Spiel! :D Ich bin immer hyped zu sehen wie viele von uns in diesem Jam mitmachen! ^-^
The animation and music together are amazing, the tension rising during the run hits really well, great job!
I would only increase the size of UI in the start - "hit both keys at the same time"

I love the idea, the music, the presentation and the story! Maybe you could add a visual feedback when a button is pressed, I missed that a bit. Sometimes I was not sure if my keys are even accepted.
Oooh I'm confused, the UI has a hit effect on hit and the character should glow red on a miss, is that not working for you? :x

Wow, this was a really impactful short-story with incredible art and audio presentation! I am not quite sure if the inputs had any effect at all though, because I did not see any visual feedback for pressing correct or wrong buttons.

We also didn’t have a volume slider and just slapped a mute button in for good measure, because we couldn’t get it done in time. Sometimes sacrifices have to be made for a release.

Reaaaaaally great concept, but the difficulty was too severe to start out with. I really would love to see a full game with this gameplay concept, but with a better difficulty curve :)
Thank you so much <3 And thanks for the feedback! We opted for the "failure is inevitable" experience. But now that I think of it it an additional "endless mode" where you only play the gameplay part with a difficulty curve that wasn't tuned so the player is forced to loose would have been a great addition
i would maybe make the difficulty curve less steep so you feel like you might be able to manage, but inevitably notice its rigged.
I would definitely agree with this, but its really hard to make that call during a jam and I think that idea was worth pursuing :)

Stunning art! Can't look away, it's so mesmerizing. Story also really grabbed me. Sounds is also top notch of course. I just wished for a little more gameplay feedback.

One of the best submissions when it comes to art! I also like the story. The gameplay had no feedback-loop though. I’m not even sure if I needed to press anything in the end.
