Way too hard for me, I couldn't weave between the initial opening full-circle bursts, even if I immediately moved to the bottom left (as far away as possible so the gaps are bigger) . I'm sure it's a skill issue since I don't normally play bullet hells but I would've liked to play through the end (or have a better shot at trying). The music and theming is great!

I’ve played it a few times, and the only way to get through the game seems to be to press the spacebar immediately after launching it. If everything goes right, an SFX plays that reminds me of something being crushed. That’s when we get to see the ending.
If we don’t press spacebar and don’t hear that sound, we’re basically doomed to lose. There isn’t enough time to load the weapon and fire it.
I’m not sure if this was the intended effect.

I dunno how, but i've managed to end the game before it's even started. anyway W game, I like it :D
So, did I have to charge a shot or did you charge my time now? :D A fun expierence for sure.
Not sure if I was missing something but I kept getting destroyed before I was able to charge enough energy to fire my shot.
You have to charge for about one minute.
I debated with myself a lot whether or not I should have something to let the player know how much longer they must charge. I ended up deciding not to to give it a more anxious feeling, not knowing how longer you have to resist. But people seem to be getting confused by it. It is what it is, lesson learnt!
Great theme adherance :) That text scroll speed is quite painful though, I found myself spamming 1. I'd probably have a bit more patience if it was fast by default.
Also I appreciate the meta-humor. Good work!
I thought it gave more "ambiance" that way, and since you could indeed spam 1 if it felt too slow, I felt it was fine. Another idea I had was giving it a fade-in and fade-out effect to the whole text; that would've given it the ambiance I looked for and made it faster... But, I ran out of time. Glad you liked it anyway :)
I am not going to rate, because I don't want to bring your scores down. I couldn't figure out how to shoot, because whenever I let go of A, it just didn't shoot. I don't know if I was supposed to charge it longer or what, because whenever I started I just immediatly died. Do you know what I was doing wrong?
