Did your team create most/all of the graphics yourselves?
Yes, all of the graphics were made by me, my brother, and my friend
Did your team create most of/all the audio yourselves?
No, most of the audio with the exception of the main menu theme is royalty free downloadable music and sfx
How did you incorporate the theme "UNSTABLE"?
One of the definitions of unstable is "likely to change", and in this game, everything changes constantly

Nice game and twists were lovely.
Rate and review my game Save the apple
Really interesting game, it's quite hard though, I am honestly not really a big fan of the jumps being so delayed though.
Great game love the random twists! I found the controls a little unresponsive especially the jump but I love the games humour! Great first game!

I actually hadn't expected it to be this hard, but I definitely had fun. It turned out to be an entertaining game. great job.
I really appreciate the feedback! Don't worry, you are definitely not the first person to have the problem of it being too hard! I think it was something to do with the randomized events forcing impossible scenarios as well as the fact that the difficulty spike was judged by the same person that made and playtested the entire game!
You welcome always happy to give people feedback cant wait for more maybe in december? /jam/-pixel-deck-jam-1
I liked the variety of all the quirks thrown at you! The delayed jump was weirdly satisfying
I honestly tried to get through at least the first level (and almost made it a couple of times). The character's jumps were implemented in an unusual way: you had to jump first, and then move the character left or right. The character animation is cool))
Hey, thank you so much for playing! All the animations were made by my brother, and he's happy to hear that you liked them! The weird character jump actually started as a bug, but we thought it was really goofy so we kept it. It is a very difficult game though, and I keep getting feedback that tells me I should make my future games a lot easier!
I think it just needs to be balanced: the game shouldn't be too easy and predictable. The main thing is to eliminate any obviously impossible moments. Although, my game for this jam isn't difficult and is rather predictable, unfortunately. In any case, you and your brother are great! Your game has great potential!)
Yes I agree, but because everything is randomized, every time the player dies, it feels like there is nothing they could have done to prevent it. And also, because of randomization, there are indeed impossible moments. Again, I really appreciate the feedback and I will make sure to implement it in future games! Thank you so much!
Considering this is one of your first projects, it’s pretty good! The only thing I’d suggest is taking another look at how the instability works. As I understand it, the idea is that the jumping behavior and environment are constantly changing, but right now those changes feel a little too random and sometimes unfair to the player.
It might be worth making them more deterministic for example, using a clear sequence or specific zones where the conditions change.
Overall, though, it’s quite good. I even managed to complete one level!))
