Theme Interpretation
The player is from a village that has been isolated from the world by a mysterious fog. The only way to push back the fog and rebuild the village is by charging a magical light source, The Pyre. The player upgrades buildings in order to get more Embers, which can then be used to charge the Pyre, pushing back the fog and allowing the player to access, repair, and upgrade more buildings.

Beautiful and relaxing game, really nice to play. Some more stuff like full mouse controls, and better undestanding how the resource economy work, and I'll play and play... The art is outstanding too - it makes impression from the page's screenshots to real gameplay. Well done!
this was pretty chill I maxed out everything if you want to introduce stress and a sense of dread, I recommend taxes lol but great game I enjoyed it
Solid foundation and pleasant art style! I found that I couldn't really feel the connection between the upgrades I was buying and the effect they had. I also wasn't really paying attention to upgrades over time, so a little summary of how much everything was contributing in total would have been nice.
Good work, though!
very fun!! loved how chill it was!!
very fun!! loved how chill it was!!
Game completed! I loved the visuals.
I think I've found a bug. When I have the panel of a building open, the level up button for the same building doesn't update when all the resources needed reach the right amount for the level up. To update the button I have to close and reopen the panel. Beyond that great game!
I see a potential for a nice little commercial game if you want to expand it.
Love it.
Thank you for playing it!
love the art, but the UI is a bit confusing. when the button lights up, it's actually locked
Thank you for playing! I appreciate the feedback.
Nice work! I fully maxed out the pyre! Camera can get stuck sometimes when against the bounds
Thank you for taking the time to play the whole game, I appreciate your feedback!
Very cool game! You did very good job with the menus and all. I like the art, pretty cool. I miss that I am told what each building generates, since I am updating them without knowing what they will give me in teturn, but in general, t is a pretty cool game for a jam, well done!
Thank you!
I really enjoyed this, it's a really relaxing way to use the theme and I got really into it. I would really love to see this expanded on further, I feel like it could be a really cool Frostpunk-style game where you have to make tough decisions. Great job!
Thank you for playing! I would like to expand on this with more management style elements at some point. I appreciate your feedback!
I love how the whole game idea is built around charging, very cool way to use the theme
Thank you!
I enjoyed every single second playing this game. Love the art and the chill+incremental kind of game. Good work! :D
Thank you!
What a beautiful game. I think you nailed hard it on the graphics department.
Playing the game was quite relaxing. I loved the world and feeling of warm and dread. I was captivated.
What I was missing constantly is moving the camera with you mouse and zoom. So if you ever wanna update you game, I wil be more than happy to come back :)
Thank you, I appreciate the kind words! Having mouse camera movement is a good idea, thanks for the feedback!
As others have said, beautiful art but a unclear that certain upgrades aren't purchaseable until a higher building level. Would love to see it expanded with some added challenge
Thank you for playing it, I appreciate the feedback! I would like to either expand on this project or make something similar that leans more into resource management challenges at some point.
I was really drawn in by the art. I liked the fog on the cover image. I was little lost on how to upgrade. The disabled/you can’t afford button graphic didn’t read as I couldn’t click on and I thought I found a bug at first. Then realized that I didn’t have the right level of building yet. Maybe if the whole row could look disabled that could help? Or the disabled color darker and the enabled color brighter? I also didn’t realize at first there was any music. I had to turn my speakers up quite a bit to hear. The fog effect looks excellent!
Thank you, I appreciate the feedback!
