Really enjoyed this one! Here’s my Quick Playtest.
First off, the presentation is awesome. The camera work, animations, and overall style make this feel way more polished than I expected from a jam game. Did you make the models or what pack are they from, super nice!
I also wasn’t expecting this to turn into a roguelike! 😂 There’s a lot more going on here than the initial concept makes you think, and I really like how you tied the domino idea into reaching your tipping point.
If I had one area I’d keep working on, it would probably be some additional polish around telling the player exactly what just happened during the more chaotic moments. The visuals are already doing a ton of work, so stronger gameplay feedback could make those moments hit even harder. Sorry my sound for some reason is not working, But over all dope game!
Really ambitious game for the jam. Nice job!
Omg Thanks! I never expected someone to have a full playtest of my game, that is definitely something new. Our initial idea was actually a domino rogulike kinda like balatro, but we figured the scope would be too big and just reused the domino model for this game. It kinda fit as well as domino can also tip and fall. All the art and models are made during the jam but you can tell they are just variations of each other, with the same hand model being used for every enemies. I will take note of your feedback as it is definitely something we didn't really took much thought beforehand. Again, Thanks for playing our game! If we do update our game, we will try our best to address the problem in the feedback!
good game
Thanks! We are really proud of it
It took us quite some times to actually settled on this idea! Thanks for the compliment :D
That's cool—you're welcome.
wow its really creative and i really enjoyed playing the game!
It takes a long time getting the hang of it tho.
Thanks for taking the time to learn the basics of it! really hope you had a great time with it
took me a while to get it but its a lotta fun :D
It can be hard to get familiar at first so thanks for taking the time to learn it!
actually insane implementation of the theme, most creative I've seen yet.
i would say only issue would be moving with WASD. since the game is isometric (which is a cool look btw) it feels a little trippy to actually move around because WASD isn't built for an isometric game. otherwise pretty nice game
Thanks for the feedback, we were so familiarized with it that we didn't really notice this issue. I will try to make it more intuitive if we do update the game!
Never seen a game like it, very creative. Loved it!
Thanks! We tried our best to be as creative as possible
Really cool game and I love this style! Small tip: It's a bit uncomfortable to press 'P' to start the game cause my left hand is on WASD and my right hand is on the mouse. Good luck!
Oh I apologize for that, it was just for testing and we didn't think much of it later on, should have changed to click tho. Thanks for playing!
The art is just💖💖
Controls are little hard to get used but still a good gamee, automatic camera tilt is little annoying but suits it well
Thanks for the feedback, would definitely work more on them if we have more time
Lovely art style and really creative gameplay. Great job, congrats!
Appreciate it, you did a great job on your game too
Nice, the isometric camera was cool and the style and everything else fit well. Only one pet peeve and that is as the platform tilts the slight change in angle makes the directional control on the keyboard a little bit weird at times (isometric is always hard there, which way is down bottom left or bottom right, but with the changing angles it becomes even more confusing) but great job, fits the theme great!
I see, I will take note of that. Thanks!
Amazing game. Keep going in make games like this. I wish you will make a game that break the internet
Thanks, I will try my best in my next games
Amazing game. Keep going in make games like this. I wish you will make a game that break the internet
Good take on that theme. Really liked the integration on an isometric style
Thanks! We tried our best to make it not too awkwards and difficult to get familiar with
Really cool game! I loved the isometric retro style and your take on the theme. Great job!
Thanks for the compliment! we do proud of how we incorporate the theme so it means a lot to us
the idea is perfasionl level great you can imperov sound effte and optimiz than it will be more great👍
I agree, we were quite rushing so we didn't jave enough time to improve the sound effects and finish the optimization. Thanks for your feedback
A very interesting game with great camera work; I was also surprised to find out it’s a roguelike.
Thank you! The camera was horrible to work with so I’m glad you enjoyed it!
This game is really good! I honestly have no complaints, everything is good, and I especially like the style of the game. Keep it up!
😭😭😭😭tysm, this is the first game jam we actually spent so much effort in, and I really appreciate your compliment about our style. All of our models are homemade and it took us years to do the animation
