O, good idea. I like the concept. I finish the game, it was really cool, but I needed more time to understand what exactly game want from me. But when I figured it out the became became better :)

Developer

Thx for your comment! I will note the intrudaction need renovation

I like the idea. There is a good puzzle possibility based on the concept. Good mechanic and Nice job

Developer

Thank for you compliments!

Wow! The way the levels were designed is truly fascinating; it's a bit short, but I loved the concept and your implementation. Great job!

Developer

Thx! I tried my best!

I love the overall concept you was trying to do here! The art assets and audio you made worked well, but there was some misleading gameplay parts for me. Maybe I didn't pay attention but I didn't know about needing to click the wifi bar until the cave level. I was just going through forcing my way through the inconsistency of the gate opening and closing and it kinda annoyed me a bit. I had to wait on the pressure plate a good bit and then rush to the door until it resets itself. Idk if I was playing the game right but when I saw the wifi mechanic later I felt dumb.

Developer (1 edit)

Thx for your feedbacks! You dont need to worry, the wifi button does not work at the first 3 levels :D, and for the annoying part: yes the modem has an annoying timer( don't say to anybody but when I set the timer at the first time I said I will gonna change it later and forgot sfajkfalk). WE REALLY DONT KNOW WHY MODEM'S TİMER İS SHORT, RİGHT? Anyway Thanks for your comment!

I liked that you explored how the gameplay would change when you do not have the control of the connection and when you do. Had fun playing :) Good job.

Developer

Thx! This was the best thing that came into my mind

Nice one, having wifi status controlling stability of the world is such a nice idea, I managed to finish the game🎉 nice job!

Developer(+1)

Thx! I wanted to make it easy for the all jammers can finish it (but some feedback show I didn't intruduce the mechanics well 😅 )

Submitted(+1)

So cool! :)

Developer

Thank you for your compliment!

Developer

Thx, I will note it

really fun game i just think the rock that fall apart was a bit to fast

Developer

Thx! I will write it down

It’s a creative mechanic, and I really like the vintage aesthetic you chose. The way the visual style complements the gameplay mechanic is fantastic. Very well done!

Developer

Thx! I dont think my visual style is not the best thing in the game lol but if you like it then I like it

Submitted(+1)

Love the core game mechanic of this game and how it ties with "unstable". Just wish there were more puzzle-y puzzles, you know? Great job either way!

Developer

Thx! I agree with that puzzles are a little bit lame but I couldn't finish it on time, I made the last 2 levels in the last day lol.

This was a very interesting take on the theme! I liked the idea of using "lag" to complete task in the game. The visual were decent overall maybe with the exception of the UI needing a little bit of work. (The big arrows were a little distracting) But overall a solid entry with a fun use of the theme!

Developer(+1)

I need to say that I did that ui on last hours lol. I had a time problem and I didn't think the main menu thing. So I did it on last minute :D

Submitted(+1)

Nice job. I would say a big thing was with ui. I liked the idea of creating the impression that you're playing the game on a computer but I think I would've preferred if you just had the desktop icons in the menu, instead of having a giant arrow directing you to it. I noticed the desktop was Windows styled in the beginning but then the ui in the game seemed to be something I expected with Linux. The ui bar with the search bar and everything was a nice touch but it seemed to largely be aesthetic, so for that reason, I think it would've been better if it didn't take up as much of the screen.

I did find myself a bit confused as to what to do. I knew that the button controlled the log blocking my path but I couldn't quite glean what conditions were to get the log out of the way. I sort of bumbled my way through. The best I could think was that you had to time the button press with the lights on the modem in the beginning?

I think this is one of those situations where a game just needed a bit more polish. Hopefully this doesn't come off as overly critical. I'm trying to find a balance between constructive criticism and not making it seem like I disliked everything.

Developer

No, it isn't overly critical. You have a point there. I had a little bir of time problem and I couldn't finish the porject so that means I didn't polish it. the idea was when the internet is on the door can open and close. About the ui: I didn't want to copy-paste the original windows ui and i took the initiative. And for the last thing: yeah I agree that ui was really large and I didn't have enough space for more parkour, I don't have anything to say for it, it's just a bad design choice. Thx for your comment!

It looks like a great game unfortunately I can't download on mobile : ( so I'm not really sure if I can rate a game I haven't played ...

Developer(+1)

ow, sorry to hear that. you don't have to rate it. Your comment is meaningful enough. Btw if there's a game you want to see I can download and can stream to you in discord, let me know it in here. See ya 🖐️

Thx for the offer I'll take you up on it when I can ... If you want to test a mobile version of a game I can do the same :]

I enjoyed so much the game, really well done!

Developer

Thx! I am glad you liked it

I love the idea and concept! I think it had great difficulty scaling, it never got so hard that you were frustrated with finishing the game, for a jam that's excellent. Loved the retro vibes and music. Really fun mechanics that broke the 4th wall in a way. The one thing I am on the fence about is the theme, I understand the unstable wifi but here you could manipulate it so I'm 50/50 about. BUT gameplay wise its great.

Developer

Thx! I did think the same! Making it difficult to players can be exhausting, so I made it simple. Thx again for your kind words

Submitted(+1)

Very creative gameplay! Having the waterfall freeze upon disconnect was a very nice touch since it really communicated what the game was going for.

Developer

Thx! I tried my best!

Nice work! The assets work well together, and I liked the choice of music. I would have liked to see some more fine-tuning of the platforming system though.  Of course, you can't always predict medical issues taking your time away, I'm sure you would have been able to polish it more if you had those days to work. Even so, this is pretty impressive for a solo dev's first game, so my advice is to just keep doing Game Jams, listen to the feedback, and you'll get even better.  Finding a friend who can make original art or music for the game will be very helpful for giving your game its own unique identity, so I recommend that in the future as well. Best wishes!

Developer

Wow, Thx for you reccomendations! It means a lot to me. Yeah I lost some time with some issues but I wont let them get in my way! I don't know much about polishing games or some mechanics a game must have but I won't gonna surrender! I will try my best. And about jams I would love to get in the jam comminity, there is so much nice people like you guys. I literally appericiate your feedbacks. and for the final part I am not very good at making friends 🥲 but I guarentee you, I am gonna make my own assets. Again thx for your kind words! Best wishes too!

Submitted(+1)

Overall, I liked the visual style and the use of assets. They complement each other perfectly. Maybe you could have made the single background just a little different. Other than that, it’s an interesting piece of work. (Rated)

Developer(+1)

Yeah I got a time issue and I couldn't finish the whole game in time but I think I did a good job

Submitted(+1)

the idea is very cool. It has a lot of potential. however the implementation could be better. platforming wise the controller is not that great. lacks coyote time or buffers or anything from that nature. and as a puzzle game same thing the levels shown were overly simple especially after making wifi controllable. I would say though that the last level is quite decent. the music is cool and the artstyle is charming. goodjob overall!

Developer

Hey! Thank you for your comment. I also think I didn't fully accomplished it's potential. This is my first game, so I spent most of my time learning how to do the game instead of doing it and also lost some time due to a few accidents. So this game is still very raw but next jam I will suprass this! Now for the difficulties: I thought a jam game needs to be short and simple so everybody can finish it but I didn't know I was over-doing it. Again thx for your kind words

Submitted(+1)

it IS a good philosophy to make the end of the game as accessible as possible in jams so nope if that’s what you’re going for be my guest! I just think a tiny bit more that explores the mechanic more even if its not pure harder. also damn did not think it’s ur first game it’s too creative for that!

Developer

Thx!
