How does the game fit the theme?
The game asks the player to trust Buddy, the procedure, the rescue ship, and even their own expectations of how a game is supposed to work. In the end, they shouldn't even trust the game itself.

*** Spoiler below ***

A scam that ends the game before it really gets started.

The game fits the theme through the idea of “Trust No One.” The player trusts Buddy because his instructions feel like a normal tutorial, but Buddy never tells them the whole truth. The player follows the procedure, believing they are preparing to escape, only to discover that the rescue ship leaves without them.

The game also plays with the player's trust in the game itself. When the ship flies away, the player naturally thinks, “What happens next?” - but nothing does. The game simply ends. The player shouldn't trust Buddy, the procedure, the rescue ship, or even their expectations of how the game is supposed to continue.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
For audio, I downloaded many SFX from Creative Commons sound packs. I listed all of the sources I used, and in some cases I combined multiple sounds and manipulated them to fit the game.

I also reuse main menu hierarchy from my another project. Even with changes (accesebility option) - that was shortcut

Very cool vibe! I fell for trusting the game. I guess I survived, but it was all a [spoiler]

The space cat story was hilarious

I love sound design! And also visual! Great job!

I’m really enjoying your game! The dialog skipping is impressive, the language and font changes are cool, and the story is funny. I already found three achievements — great game!

Developer

Oh, you found 3 out of the 4 achievements that are currently possible to get in the game! The rest didn’t survive the build process, so well done ^^

I’m not quite sure what you mean by the dialogue skipping, but we’re really glad you enjoyed the game!

Submitted

I mean  that you developed this option, that speedup dialog is possible - like this sollution

I like the jokes and the world building. But the gameplay I think could be improved. Maybe delay being left behind and let the player do even more things.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback! I’ll make a note of it. We’re working on a post-jam build where you’ll actually be able to do more and have more things to interact with

Cool little game, the visuals are cool and the sound design is on point.  It fit the theme well! Althought I was lost about what to do sometimes.

The humor is great too, the steering wheel in the hand got me! =)

Great job!

Thank you for giving the game a try ^^

A short and interesting game, but it would have been better if you had included fewer puzzles. I liked the world design; I love the style and the beautiful backgrounds.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing!
We might move the puzzle to a more fitting place after the jam

I was sold as soon as the intro started, neat game!

Very cool concept, enjoyed the art and very funny!

Submitted(+1)

Funny game, loved the intro but some parts of the game weren't that obvious so I struggled a bit understanding what to do sometimes..

Developer

I’m glad you had some fun playing it! This is our first 3D project, so we’d really appreciate it if you could tell us which parts you had trouble with or found unclear.

Also, regarding the interactions, someone pointed out that we had a critical bug that could make the game unplayable. We think (and really hope!) we’ve fixed it now

Submitted(+1)

You got me with the intro lol

Submitted(+1)

quick game, appreciate the art and the space controls.  maybe it'd be a small improvement to add some zero-gravity effects to the movement.

Submitted

Funny intro and I was shocked by the steering wheel left in hands, nice job

At first it took me a while to realize what was happening but ended loving the UI, the atmosphere and the humor. Great job :)

Developer

Thank you for playing! ^^ What did you have trouble figuring out at first? I’d love to know what was confusing

I loved the humor in this game!

great UI and artstile.

Nice, quick, and fun game.

The Art Style is top-notch; so far, my favorite game of the Jam! Maybe a couple of more sound effects would be good, but that's nitpicking!

Submitted

Very funny, left me laughing out loud before it even started. The visuals were nice as well.
