A short and interesting game, but it would have been better if you had included fewer puzzles. I liked the world design; I love the style and the beautiful backgrounds.

How does the game fit the theme?
The game asks the player to trust Buddy, the procedure, the rescue ship, and even their own expectations of how a game is supposed to work. In the end, they shouldn't even trust the game itself.
*** Spoiler below ***
A scam that ends the game before it really gets started.
The game fits the theme through the idea of “Trust No One.” The player trusts Buddy because his instructions feel like a normal tutorial, but Buddy never tells them the whole truth. The player follows the procedure, believing they are preparing to escape, only to discover that the rescue ship leaves without them.
The game also plays with the player's trust in the game itself. When the ship flies away, the player naturally thinks, “What happens next?” - but nothing does. The game simply ends. The player shouldn't trust Buddy, the procedure, the rescue ship, or even their expectations of how the game is supposed to continue.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
For audio, I downloaded many SFX from Creative Commons sound packs. I listed all of the sources I used, and in some cases I combined multiple sounds and manipulated them to fit the game.
I also reuse main menu hierarchy from my another project. Even with changes (accesebility option) - that was shortcut
