I had a really good time with this. The basic idea is simple, but I haven’t really seen a tower defense do it quite like this before. Shooting your own little creatures out of the cannon feels great, and I only realized afterwards, while reading the other comments, that letting them stick around makes them level up, which adds a really neat bit of risk and reward.
The art is fantastic too. Everything looks really polished, the UI is clear, and the sound fits nicely. I made it to around wave 7 before things got out of hand and one of the enemies made off with my crystal.
The only part that didn’t really land for me was the jam theme. I enjoyed the game a lot, but I never really understood where “Trust No One” came into it.
Definitely one I could see myself playing again. Great job, Bob & Bob!
Because we’re at the end of the rating let me explain. You are told to defend the Crystal and collect the parts. All part corrupt the crystal and becomes black. Then a pop up to not trust the ui and even the title told you not to trust the lights ( the ammo ) . The game flips you play with black and fight the light creatures. So an endless loop between light and dark( this was planned but I the dev made a last minute mistake so no boss respawn no end screen).
Ah, got it. I never reached the corruption/side-switching part, so I completely missed the theme connection. Thanks for explaining!
Great Game, Good art, sounds, and very polished, and the gameplay is really good too!
Thank you 🙏 ! We spent a lot of our week on all those points .
I would have loved to be able to use multiple towers, but it was really fun launching the little blobs (and very never wracking having my crystal stolen)! I loved that the crystal would spawn more creatures even while being stolen which came in cinch a few times!
Thank you for the play !
Yea I liked keep spawning on super fun as well :)
Yes! There are plenty opportunity to increase the power you have. Maybe we'll implement your ideas in a next version! ;-)
great tower defense, the trade-off of keeping a unit for level-up or shooting it is a great risk/reward situation, great game, had fun!
Yea the leveling up the “bullets was a cool find” The Hank you for pointing this out we were a bit proud when we thought of it :) .
The art is amazing! I love tower defense games, maybe I didn't understand how to play but nothing happened after I dragged one light to a tower... Am I missing something? I am using Chrome.
In the night waves will come and then you can drag “ammo” into your he lighted cannon.
Very nice game. Plays and looks great!
I don't understand how it fits with the theme.
The art looks super cute and I love TD games, sadly this one didn't work for me past the first level :( Like no one moves anymore when you skip to the night after the first prep phase.
please try chrome no Firefox .
Nice and solid TD game with geed visuals
Thank you for the feedback and compliments!
I'm usually not a big fan of tower defense games, but this one somehow has that magic that makes me want to keep playing! The presentation and feedback are also really memorable.

Thank you for this big compliment. We really appreciate this. Thank you for playing. We will try and play your game soon.
Thank you! I've tried your game too and it's awesome, I love the mood you successly created.
I really enjoyed playing! The art is cozy, even in the dark and the sound compliments the art style well. I would like it if the wave preview had a lighter background so it would be easier to see the enemies at a glance. The controls are intuitive and the progression of new enemy and defender types kept me hooked!
cool visual style, very cozy
Thank you for playing and the kind words.
Thank you!
The graphics are stunning. It’s not necessarily the sort of gameplay I’m keen on (I’m absolutely rubbish at tower defence games), but the atmosphere of your game kept me playing <3 I think the balance is good; in any case, the difficulty builds gradually and you quickly get a feel for your options. Well done!!
thank you 🙏 for playing and the kind words.
I think I’m slowly turning into a magpie that’s especially sensitive to pretty graphics. I see nice art and I’m immediately drawn to it, and your game definitely caught my attention.
I actually tried launching your game about 10 times. Sometimes I didn’t have any options available, and sometimes the graphics didn’t load. I think you could add a note on the game page suggesting that players refresh their browser if something doesn’t load properly.
I’m not sure if this is a common issue, and I don’t really know how else I can help, so I’m attaching a screenshot to show you what I mean.
Honestly, I think this is more important to let you know about than simply telling you how I experienced the game, so I wanted to mention it right away.
I’m not the best playtester, so I really hope my message is helpful in some way. At least personally, I’d really appreciate it if someone took the time to check whether the game is actually working properly.
Can I ask what browser you use this help me a lot !
I checked it on three browsers.
I definitely don’t recommend Mozilla - and that’s actually my main browser. 😅
Opera GX works perfectly.
I only checked Edge once, but there were no issues there either.
Good game, cool visuals and cute characters, it is little too easy and also I don't really know if it fits the theme that much, but really nice polished game.
Thank you for playing!
At the end you should corrupt the Cristal but I messed up this twist with some last minute adjustments.
Very cool art.
Thank you , ill give Bob a notice :)
Impressive visuals, a well made tower-defense game. I'm not sure why there were multiple turrets, while every wave the enemies will approach only on one side. Anyway, good game.
Yea we could have done it with one turret, we iterated between some ideas so we ended up with 4 and kept the nice composition :P
The art style and gameplay is amazing! So satisfying shooting the cute characters at the scary looking shadow enemies. The audio was also super well put together. Good job all!
Thank you Alex, I'll play your game soon.
Thank you! Actually, the soundtrack is the first one I've created. Ever. On a crappy browser music thing ^^
Loved the hand drawn art here, the crystal and creature sprites look super nice. The whole thing with building creatures, loading them into cannons, and deciding if you should save ammo so it levels up is such a cool idea... I did see people mention Firefox issues, but overall this is a very cool jam game :D
Thank you for the play!
Chrome , Edge and Safari are all ok but Firefox has lag issues have to look into this later.
Well did I beat it? That big monster with the final rush is dead lying on the ground. I love roguelikes and tower defences. Good game!
Yes you did 🙌👍. So I have more work if you not got a proper ending.
Thank you so much for playing.
