I really like this take on the whole trust no one theme! Shopkeeper sims are not necessarily my jam, but I did like the concept and theme. Art style is also very much a vibe, good job!

It took me a minute to realise I had to actively sell my items to people. I also wish I could be holding the items I wanted to sell and choose to buy an item off of someone without having to put stuff down. Maybe its cos of moonlighter, when I saw the tables I thought that's how I would need to display and customers would just buy them from the display :D

Thank you for the feedback and for giving the game a shot even if shop sims aren't your usual thing!

Funny you mention Moonlighter: not everyone on the team has played it, but it was actually the exact reference point we tried to distance our mechanics from so we wouldn't feel too much like a clone.

Well, the only reason I mentioned moonlighter is cos I was wondering why it wasn't obvious to me that leaving it on the tables wouldn't sell the items, and i rmbed that moonlighter works like that so maybe that's why I made that assumption. Other than that, I'd say mission successful!
