Love the game itself, but i feel like the Theme is implemented in a way that makes it "not needed" like i was able to easily win rounds without using abilities.
I agree.
I also grew a bit dissatisfied with how It turned out in the end. But at that point it was too late to make major changes, so I had to stick with it.
