How does the game fit the theme?
People come and go; where your shelter places you, you must distinguish the people you need to take into that shelter.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Yes Assets from scratch and they all belong to me, but my friends are helping out for some voices as well.
I took some random sounds from Pixabay

Loved the radio tower setup and having to scan the cards with the tablet, that part felt super tense fast. The UI/look is awesome too, especially that dotted almost 2D texture on everything. I was a little confused at first with the menu and holding the red/green buttons, but once it clicked I had a good time, nice one :)

Oh wow, okay, first of all, I definitely loved the POV and the visuals! Second, the narrative is really immersive and fun. I especially liked being guided by the operator over the walkie-talkie. I was a bit uncomfortable with the cursor at first, but I adapted pretty quickly, and I loved answering the phone, getting information from the tablet, and using the walkie-talkie.

The only thing I would point out is that sometimes, the dialogue feels a little incoherent, or it's not always clear how certain conversations serve the story. But maybe I missed a few things! I think the game could be polished a little more in that regard.

Also, sometimes the phone starts ringing before the man actually appears on the screen.

However, I really enjoyed playing this game and will definitely come back to it!

Cool stuff! Unfortunately it ended up at day one for me (i should've clicked continue when back at the main menu perhaps, i thought it was finished), and i focused so much on the identity checks that i missed the mini games. Good job on making the game, the computer ui was beautiful :)

What do you think about the dart part?

Submitted(+1)

It was really fun getting the force adjusted and throwing it one of the best bits in the game

Played a bunch of gatekeeper games like this one but this one easily has the most depth! Made it pretty far on stream today.

Developer(+1)

I rewatched the stream at 01.50.00 you started playing you were shocked in the dart part of the game i had much fun while watching you 😂

i hope you enjoyed 🙏🏻

Great game! The dialogue was my favorite part, but the visuals and sound effects were both also well done.

Really great game! I love the feeling of punching in numbers and cross referencing data! Great game!

Great game.

The visuals were good and the final "boss" was a nice touch(the darts)

The game kept to the theme really well and the atmosphere with the dimly lit room was a great addition.

great atmosphere

I love the graphics. And so far, this is definitely the most original game I’ve played. It’s very complete, and I didn’t encounter any bugs. Excellent work! Really good, I loved it.

I love the art and vibe of this, and games with this kind of concept are always very interesting to me! Great job!

Crazy impressive work for a solo jam project! The atmosphere, shaders, and constrained field of view create an incredible mood that seriously rivals Papers, Please and Buckshot Roulette. The decision-making, writing, and hidden mini-game events keep you completely hooked from start to finish. It honestly feels like a fully polished commercial release rather than a week-long jam game. Amazing job! I hope you also get a chance to play my game and leave a review: /jam/brackeys-16/rate/4953523
