How does the game fit the theme?
It's about number people and there's a bunch of puns. I don't want to spoil anything, but let's just say I took the theme quite literally
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The music, it's all free CC assets from pixabay

Poor Number Nine! Such a cool little game - I had a great time. The visuals, animations, and sound are awesome, and the way the enemies look depending on their level is genius!
Thank u!
great art style and vibe.
I think the gameplay could be a better quicker, i.e enemies take more damage so we can get to the story quicker 😄
Thanks! I'll keep it in mind :)
Pun lover here!! You made this in just 48 hours?! The difficulty feels really well balanced and the story is fun too. I especially love the art style. The visuals are gorgeous and the color palette feels so nice to look at!!
My brain was melting by the end of the development ngl. Thanks for playing! The visuals of your game are super pretty :)

Holy moly this is so good
I loved the storytelling and my head exploded with the ending! Also, the visuals are perfect, really loved it! Maybe gameplay could've been better if I could hold click to shoot, but honestly it didn't feel that bad since the game isn't that long.
Overall, great game <3
