Nice, fun and funny little game here! Interesting twist on a tower defense.

Some critique:

  • The game page looks very poor. This is never a good thing. The page is not locked during the jam like the builds so please work on it, make it beautiful so more people will play the game, it deserves it.
  • When you open the game on the full screen viewport does not scale and as everything in the game is small I and other player would appreciate ability to play full screen.
  • Probably I missed it but there is no end goal. Having a goal is a crucial thing in almost every game, it helps to keep the player engaged.
  • Visuals can benefit from some lighting / fog / post processing. While the props and character look nice, without the environment setup they look flat.
  • The theme is unfortunately not reflected in the game, not the biggest issue, but it is always more interesting to play jam games that are built around the theme.

Overall - congratulations, I had some good time with it!

Was really fun getting my undead friends to do the dirty work. Was there any reason not to always have my friends following me instead of sitting still?

Really good visuals and the gameplay loop was very satisfying. Good job!

Thank you for playing our game. And yes! We wanted to provide you with the ability to control the map, potentially stationing your monsters near pillars or points of interests. However play-tests have proven that players stick their monsters around the altar or make the monsters follow them depending on play-style.

I love the idea of putting parts together to make your friends. And the gameplay of directing your friends and moving at the same time was really fun! Pretty difficult though.

Thanks! We were very lucky to have Mythic on our team for the character art!

nice job game is very polished, very good mechanic. I couldn't survive a first night, but I was close

Thank you for the kind words! Will play your game too!

It was so cool to coordinate WASD with point at click movements to dodge enemies with the skeleton and the demon at once. I hardly managed to finish the game in the first run, it was so fun and the visuals are very cool and polished. My only minor complain is that the game jam theme is not integrated in the gameplay, but had a good time playing anyway. Great job :)

Thank you for the kind words we appreciate it!

I absolutely love the spinning skeleton head and how the villager just goes and flies in the map,

Really fun game.

Great character animations! Really fun idea and a very addictive mechanic!

Really liked the character's art style and animations. It would be nice if we got more options of friends to build.

Good game, I like it. The creating new friends like Frankenstein is a cool feature. Bit unfortunate that only my "new" friends can attack and I cannot and all I can do is run around collecting limps to make new ones. But other than that, it's a great game.

Thank you for the feedback! We will have it in mind!
