What an impressive narrative you've constructed here! I'm blown away you were able to manage this is such a short time. The characters are so wonderful and clearly defined. Atticus is such a sweetheart that must be protected at all costs! I loved the call and response of the varying decisions and the audio cues. Very "tactile" in a way. Quite satisfying.
I did think the initial dream sequence where the knight is transitioning to waking in Atticus' house could be better represented with a total black out and punched up audio cues - cries of townsfolk, dragon roar, flames billowing, and the like. While the parchment effect is great, it doesn't really serve the immersion like it does the rest of the time with its sort of diary like presentation preserving the knight's legacy as the story unfolds.
Wow, thank you!! We all worked really hard to make everything come together and I'm so glad it shows. Autumn and Blake spent a lot of time nailing the coding/audio so I'm happy it paid off! It was a lot of effort from each of us :D
I’m still so in shock this was a game made within the time frame it was, it’s amazing feat of talent from everyone involved!! Everything from the art of the ui frame and the backgrounds and the sound and the writing style made it feel like an old illustrated storybook. And I loved Atticus so much! He was so well written, and Misha did an amazing job on his sprites and expressions with how soft they were.
I’ve yet to get a little over half of the endings, but it’s been such an enjoyable reading experience that I forgot how long I spent on just one of the endings alone. Even when it felt like the story had come to a nice conclusion there was always more to add on, more to explore with both the kind of routine Atticus lives as a result of who he is and how it’s formed who he is as we get to know him as he takes care of the player. It was such a fun read and I’m so psyched to see more with the rest of the endings I still gotta do.

What a beautifully put together entry! Atticus is so endearing, and I really liked the touch of having the frame bloom or wither depending on your choices. And there are so many little touches, like the rain and the tail animations, that add so much extra shine. Wonderful job!!

The story was so sweet!! All the artwork for the game, UI, CG, sprites was top tier and matches so well with the theme/story and is just so beautifully made (cannot get over the tail in the UI frame, its so cute)! Amazing work!!
What an impressive team effort. The whole game is beautiful, tip to tail! The longer I played the more I forgot that this was for the jam, and the more awestruck I was when I remembered! An absolutely inspiring production. I loved getting to know Atticus, learning about the knight along the way. Speaking of the knight, sure, I read the description but omfg by the time I had gotten to that part of the plot I was already so immersed that the curse came as a shock (positively, of course) to me! Also, the sound design was a wonderful touch! Very cozy game, lovely lovely work all.
The art and UI is so beautiful and sweet. The writing is perfectly paced and heartwarming, the music ties everything together into an amazing experience!
Oh my god. The art style is insanely lovely. I literally cried going through the story MY HEART aahjhhhhhh I loved this story. The animations on Atticus is TO DIE FOR. I WOULD ALSO FIGHT FOR THIS CUTIE PATOOTIE

I love the visuals in this game so much, the UI is just so lovely- even the game menu is so prettyyy- and I love the NVL layout with the scroll. The rain animation really adds to the atmosphere and the writing really had me hooked from the beginning! This knight's just as bad as leisure as I am HKJASDHJK I'm also obsessed with atticus' art he's so PRETTYYYY THE WAY HES EARS MOVE RAHHHHH, everything so well done I really enjoyed this game! It's such a good balance of melancholic and cozy. This interpretation of the theme was super cute I would be super distressed about the knight's dilemma too sadbhjasdh
